What is best? The tried and tested MPK rooflight or the new kid? The Fiamma 28F.

We have a MPK in our newish swift motorhome and we never noticed any whistle when driving at all. Another benefit of the MPK is that as it lifts straight up above the opening you can leave it open in anything but heavy rain as unless the rain is moving sideways very little gets inside. Given its in a bathroom/wet room it doesn't matter loas is a little gets in any way. Vents like our Heki that 'flip' open need to be closed in heavy rain.

Hi @alrightDAVE. Have you had any issue with your new design Fiamma vent rattling during driving at all?

We have not had any rattling issues although we have had one surround crack due to the heat and perhaps the screws being over tightened. So word of warning, do not over tighten the screws. Some times the Fiama vents do not shut tight down and perhaps this could present some rattling. Perhaps some adjustments or a seal will assist. We recently installed a large skylight from Skymaxx and found the quality to be far below what we would expect. This rattles when open in any slight breeze and whilst driving even when fully closed. So sadly, the quality of many conversion products are still a little "lacking" - despite the asking prices.

I have had this issue! Rattles even when just shutting a door. Also awful wind noise above 50mph ish. Wanting to replace it but unsure what with ... thinking the Midi HEKI? Have you resolved this issue?

@@spam2094 yes I’ve got 2 on my van and they make hell of a racket when driving over 50/60 as you say. Rattle and also sound like a window is constantly open! Trying to figure out what to do with them 🙈
