Grapple Dog is a delightful new platformer with an ear towards exploration. Discover massive stages and epic boss fights in this long and satisfying action game that stresses both skill and reflexes. The Switch version is let down by performance issues and the soundtrack is going to drive you up the wall, but the lengthy journey is fun from start to finish. If you're looking for a game that mixes the best elements from Alex Kidd, Indiana Jones and Bionic Commando, then you need to adopt Grapple Dog.

My favorite worlds to explore would be any of the Xenoblade Chronicles games. Finding secret areas and getting rewarded for that exploration with expierence points is awesome, not to mention doing it to some truly amazing music. Thanks for the review, this looks right up my alley with the swinging mechanics.

Looks fun. Ninja Five-O had a grappling hook that you could adjust to different lengths and when you go a hang of the momentum you could do some cool stuff.

It's made in gamemaker that had too much stuff thrown into it for it to handle, so it starts choking and dropping frames in more loaded moments. Choosing the right engine for the job is important.

I've been keeping my eye on this one so its nice to see it was worth the wait. QOTD: My favorite world to explore is Breath of the Wild. Theres so much to do and find. It also has such a nice atmosphere where it's just fun to just explore.

Spiritfarer is a nice world to explore; however there are many, many more great ones!

I just started this game today. What a gem. Plenty of fun and priced really good. Anyone thinking about it I say buy it

Looks pretty original. Reminds me of Ristar. QOTD, favorite game world to explore is Monster Hunter, preferably the locations in World.

That does look like a cute and fun game. And judging by the review Brad the Cinema Snob gave for the Uncharted movie, this does sound like the better choice of the two. As for the question, another of many reasons I do love the Life is Strange games is being able to explore so much. Even if when playing Before the Storm, Chloe could find something in her mum's bedroom drawer I think she'll rather not have found. Basically proof of her mum and step dad's love life. 😉😂🤣 So yeah, those games, and throw in Tell Me Why as well as my answer.

Favorite game world to explore? I will take the easy answer and say every Zelda game world. Yes, even Skyward Sword. Need to find all those Goddess Cubes.

@@DefunctGames I actually love that the world in it is so desolate and lonely. There are no other people and barely any wildlife. Really makes it a personal experience. Looking at some of the huge mountains and forests and knowing somehow you have to slowly get to the top or through them mainly by foot is so daunting and intense!
