Been away for a bit, life takes over sometimes. But great video and enjoyed over breakfast today. Hot toys is odd with their releases, they cut corners which they shouldn't do, even for dx. Backdrop, bendable rod etc. Her likeness is off at times, but that pose where her head is tilted down, but eyes looking up is incredible. That alone and with the quality of the lovely seamless look, clothing makes this a great figure. It's beautiful.

Even though the likeness isn't 100%.. the figure is done extremely well! I especially like the muscle tone that comes through on the seamless body. Which is something we don't typically see with seamless bodies. I went with the DX20. Not a fan of the forest display base. And I don't need another Grogu!

Ahsoka looks amazing. The head sculpt is beautiful. Rosario Dawson's likeness is around 90%, which is good enough. The portrait has a pretty good skin texture, clean paint application and a nice sheen that was added to the eyes, which adds to the overall realism. The outfit looks great. The fact that the arms can come off means that the silicone rubber material won't get damaged over time. Articulation is pretty good. The figure comes included with some nice accessories. I also like the diorama display base, despite the fact that it was reused from a prior release. As great as Ashoka looks, I can't help but feel that Hot Toys shortchanged consumers, especially since this is the deluxe version. The lightsabers and lantern don't have light up options. The diorama backdrop is way too blurry and it's hard to make out any of the details. This is still a nice piece, despite a couple of issues. Ahsoka's headdress isn't an actual headdress, but rather an appendage that's part of her body. I love the poses by the way. Ahsoka is an amazing character for sure. I already have the Hot Toys Clone Ways Ahsoka, as well as the Sideshow Collectibles Premium Format Ahsoka and the Kotobukiya ArtFX Ahsoka. Thanks, Dean! I really appreciate the hard work! Keep it up! I really like this figure. Will have mine soon. I see the likeness but Rosario does look different in a lot of movies it’s something about her face structure

In all honesty i was going to pass on this figure, i just felt the head sculpt was way, way off but after watching your nicely lit and shot video then i am all in, in fact got one arriving tomorrow, so i can not wait.Just to let you know that the base is a re use from the Empire Strikes Back Hot Toys Yoda figure.Thank you so much for your concise review, you certainly helped to make my mind up on this particular figure.

I did the same thing I got season 1 deluxe mando for $211 and got the thigh and knee armor pieces for $35

Was really excited for you to review this. I never thought this figure would turn out as good as it has. Glad I have her on order, I chose the DX20 version because they reused the Forrest base from them empire strikes back Yoda figure which I have, I didn’t want two of the same bases in my collection. It’s a shame you didn’t get the water base included still an amazing release and an amazing review as always, Dean

Is the upper body similar to TB League in terms of materials?

I think that backdrop is based on the concept art at the end of the episode 🤔 maybe that's why it's blurry and painted looking
