There are not 20/22 inch displays with QHD as far as I know. The closest are the 24-inch QHD models from Huion and XP-Pen.

Wacom might do it with there next gen of Cintiq Pro. I hope they will have real HDR and 120hz to justify their price tag. If not, then Wacom's business decisions are really questionable nowaday.

They might add that functionality in the future. Who knows.

You should be able to do it without problem. It's quite normal to have multiple drawing tablets connect to a single PC.

You can. And since they use the same pen, you don't have to switch pens. But if you want to move the 3D model on the other screen, you have to move your pen-holding hand to the other screen, then back to draw. You can just use Switch Display shortcut to move the cursor to the other screen instead. There's no need to buy another pen display for the pen input.

I was thrilled to learn years ago that Wacom's Intuos and Cintiq lines worked together like that: drawing on the Cintiq and navigating the iMac screen on the Intuos with the same pen. Huion and XP-Pen have a frustratingly large number of incompatible styluses, and weren't very forthcoming about compatible options for tablet/screen combinations. Gaomon ended up being the only other company to confirm that functionality, so I went with them for my last purchase.

They look pretty comparable, but I don't think you made a wrong dicision with chosing the Cintiq. The fans on the Cintiq, although audible, do help with the temps... I remember my old Cintiq 22HD becoming uncomforbaly warm after a full day's work, not so with the Pro 24. For me, the downside of the Pro 24 are the huge bezels, annoying capacitive buttons you can't turn off, and it requiring a propritery adapter to attach it to a VESA mount. As for the Huion, the ports are horribly placed. It would've been nice to see some sort of harness or shielding to keep the cables from bending backwards. I can't speak for the build quality of the Huion... only that Wacom is usually seen as the gold standard.

I don't really feel any difference in response rate. If you're fine with the current response rate on the 22 Plus, then you should be fine with their 24-inch models. But I don't think it's fast enough for writing lots of notes though. The main selling point is really the 1440P resolution which really helps with productivity.

Are you sure thats parallax and not lag from the computer?

@@Yurup I'm sure it's not lag. if I keep the pencil on the surface of the tablet at the end of the stroke the distance is clearly appreciated. It is not that it draws slower, what happens is that as it draws it deviates. It is only seen in long strokes, both fast and slow.

There doesn’t seem to be misalignment with this unit. For your issue, it sounds like a monitor calibration problem. But it would be strange if the cursor can still track the pen tip accurately if there’s no drawing, eg when you are just hovering around.

And does the line eventually catch up with the pen tip? 1cm parallax is significant

@@teohyc The cursor reaches the tip of the pencil only when you release and start a new stroke. I thought it was a limitation of huion technology, but if it does not happen to anyone else ... it will be a driver or compatibility problem. I calibrated it several times, but that only affects the initial tracking. Thanks for your answer!

I've not used Cintiq for a long time so I can't say for sure. But the Huion drawing experience is good. They also carry the felt textured tips so the tactile drawing experience is fantastic.

That's weird because if the screen is yellow, the calibrator should be able to remove the yellow. I no longer have this Huion pen display.

I would say the iPad Pro is slightly smoother. Kamvas Pro 24 (4K) transition is still a bit more abrupt that what I would like to see. Doesn't affect my drawing though. Pen displays this huge are not meant to be carried around often.

That is weird. I had been using wacom feel nib for a while in the past, and the feel is way more different than normal plastic nib. The only problem I have was too much friction and wear out really fast. I had to replace the tip every month.

@@DraconicA5 I mentioned I didn't feel it was better than the plastic nib; not that it wasn't different. Yes, they wear out quicker which is the same as Teoh mentioned in his response. One area where Huion isn't as good--yet--as the Wacom is initial activation force and sensitivity. So, I ordered a couple packs of felt nibs to see if anything changes. In the worst case, I wasted $20, but I have an open mind and willing to suspend my judgment until using them for a while.

@@teohyc Thanks for making that video. Did you test it on a display with the screen protector? I'm currently using a Kamvas 13 with screen protector as a non-display tablet for the ergonomics. I've found the PW517 Pentech 3.0 to be very good. It's almost as good as the Wacom. I know there is some variability, but my sample is excellent. I would place it around 90% of a Wacom. Initial Activation force is higher, but it's not a big deal.

@@asimian8500 I did not test it on a screen protector. But the screen protector should not affect performance much since they are using really thin screen protectors if any.

4K will give you better sharpness. For this particular model, it's best used with 1440P scaling so you'll also get more desktops space for your palettes and still have a good amount of canvas space to work with. The main selling point here is the combination of 1440P scaling with the sharpness of 4K.

Note taking experience is not ideal due to the latency. It's better to get a portable tablet with pen support if note taking is a priority.

I'm asking it because I aready have a display tablet(Kamvas pro 13) and I'm making plans to buy a bigger one but I'm not sure if could be a good idea getting a 4k tablet in advance( my setup are composing by 2 1080p monitors + display tablet + GTX 1070 Ti). My big question is, if I setup this 4k tablets to work in lower resolutions, could I have any problems as paralax, delay or very high pixelation on the display?

@@renatogangemi It won't have those problems you mentioned. Chances are you'll be running this at 1440P scaling. GTX 1070 should be powerful enough to drive 4K smoothly

Kamvas 16 2021 is good. 15-inch and larger is a good size to get. If you don't mind spending a bit more, Huion Kamvas 22 Plus, US $549, is the one of the best pen displays from 2020. @@teohyc thank you so much for the reply, im glad you brought up the kamvas 22 plus, I took a look at it and do like that its a way bigger screen size but between this and the cintiq 16 which one do you think would be the better pick? I always read about how the kamvas pen isn't really the best because the nib has a bit too much of a bounce to it and the shape isn't as comfortable as the wacom pen 2, also does the 22 also have the paper like feel when drawing on it? Idk what specific displays have this type of screen but I would definitely like a screen that feels as natural as drawing on paper as well. The discount on the amazon site is great and all but I found that most if not all the tech related items I bought there always had some kind of issue where I either had to have them replaced because of issues that came right out of the box, or the product would start to have some sort of issue after a month of use. Ever since then I only order directly from the main websites, and I have yet to have any issues with any direct ordered items unlike on amazon. thanks for helping me btw, your insight is really one of the best I have found on youtube so it really helps

Toggle Windows Ink on or off with the Huion driver to troubleshoot. Check if the Photoshop brush has pressure enabled. If pressure works within Huion driver, it's usually a settings issue when pressure is not working with other apps.

Think they updated the drivers and there are no issues now.

I don't think so since Huion don't make such a pen and the pens are not interchangeable.

I didn’t have any issues with CSP. CSP usually works without problem by default. Otherwise you may have to go into the CSP settings to tweak the tablet PC, wintab settings to fix pressure sensitivity (if it’s not working)

@@teohyc Update: After a final decision. I have finally bought and opened my Huion. It worked beautifully. But after three days my trackpad had stopped working while using my pen. I tried switching cables and using wireless. But it does not work. Only one can work (trackpad or pen). When I put the trackpad on the cable it turns red. I’m not sure what is wrong and I’m not sure if I have to return it. Do I have to wait for an update? I found out on reddit that people have gotten the same issue. Hopefully there is a way to fix it as I am struggle to finish my art work on the tablet as I speak.

They are compatible. But there's no Android driver so you can't adjust the pen pressure. Also this is not a touchscreen so you will still have to navigate with your Android device. This is not portable. It's 6.3kg and it needs power supply

Well, I measured 95% AdobeRGB coverage which suggests 10-bit colour support. So yeah, it's 10-bit at 60hz.

@@caseymoore4759 yeah I am speaking as a professional. It's not worth it, your illustrations won't be any better on the 2020 24 inch vs the 4k 24 inch. They both cover 100% sRGB if you really need 100% adobe RGB for print work and don't have a second monitor with 100% adobe RGB already then sure go for it. If I can get the 24 inch 2020 vers for $920, I feel the 24 4k should be around $1500-1600 tops.

Based on the colour gamut I measured with a colour calibrator, it does seem and look like a 10-bit display.

@@teohyc yeh no, on the 22 plus it's way way harder to get a line than on the older 20 pro or cintiqs, they absolutely went backwards with initial activation force this gen...

Teoh has never been accurate review the IAF, because he hasn't been using Wacom for years now. XP-pen will release the new pen tech with IAF of 3 gram, same as Wacom. This is the first time ever they use IAF as a main feature in their specs. So you should wait for XP-pen if you want to buy a new tablet right now.

Yeah, I've not used Wacom for a long time. The IAF of pen displays will never be as good as those screen-less pen tablets and that's the case here as well. At least for me, if I can get a thin line easily even with a thick brush selected, or the lines can taper smoothly, that's good enough for me. Not all pen displays can do that. Unfortunately, the XP-Pen 16TP I reviewed recently can't. When I tested the Kamvas 22 Plus, the IAF seems alright to me. I didn't notice anything strange. Pens with lousy IAF won't be able to taper lines smoothly.

Tax in Europe is crazy. Wacom products I imagine will be even more expensive after tax

Temperature is slightly warm but you can still work for long periods of time. There are no fans.

I actually tested it with a M1 Mac and it works. Their 16-inch 4K also works with M1 Mac and I tested that too. But that's just me.

Professional work has never been using more than 150 nits. And more than 200 nits is actually extremely bright when you're using it in a close distant. I have callibrated all my monitors and tablet to 110 nits for my work.

@@DraconicA5 Huh, that's interesting. Only thing I just hate is how they say what the specs are on the website for this tablet. And from this video, it was nothing like that. Marketing is sadly the right word for it. And I use a Kanvas 24 pro QHD. Which has 220 brightness, took me a while to get use too after refunding the Artist 24 Pro from XP Pen which had 250 brightness. And I always felt like I needed to see more brightness for light colors like white.

​@@lenengquist592 You should get a SpyderX pro to understand how the real professional color standard looks like. Just a warning, it does not look as good as you might think, but at least it's a standard in the industry. :) and the white color doesn't really matter.

It's only 200 Nits. It's not very bright and despite the specs, it doesn't support HDR.

If you run at max brightness of 200 nits the brightness is sufficient. I’m just running it at 150 nits in this video and that’s the typical brightness I work with.
