I just finished the build and there's a couple things that I really like about it. Just for me, the minimalist presentation overall, from the block to the insides, just hits a sweet spot for me. I also love miniatures, and I think the scale of the levels is, again, just right. And the slight puzzle box aspect to it also gives it more value as a centerpiece to me. Not to mention the nostalgia of SM64 itself. I'm really happy with it!

I am beyond excited for this set. When it was revealed all my love and excitement for Mario 64 came rushing back and every little detail that is included. I think it's just amazing and will be the first set I will pick up on release day. Your idea of having a line of Micro sets for the level is now something I need in my life lol. Overall I am excited and very happy with its pending arrival!!!!

Love the design, love the Bowser hidden area. But I’m not sure if I will still buy this. I want the Lego Super Mario sets to thrive because I want Lego to add other Nintendo propreties like the The Legend of Zelda.

If you want just the question mark block, there’s cheaper and more effective ways to get it such as the lamp. The micro scale builds are really cool. But they’re so small and just look odd and out of scale on top of the massive box. But I do really like the mechanism and transformation feature

I’m just about in line with your opinions, Brian, but I’m glad to see that others quite enjoy it. Just hoping the Nintendo license continues, I really can’t see it outright ending but you never know.

I'm afraid this is the only Peach's Castle you will get from LEGO, Brian. Same way we probably won't get a standalone Hyrule Castle in large format. At least not until the Disney and Frozen castles are on the shelves.

I went to target to get a Lego for myself for my birthday. Loved legos as a kid and covid lockdown boredom got me back into them. I love the idea of a question block with hidden features inside. It’s a great conversation piece! But what I’m really looking forward to is the almighty bowser!

I adore this set! It is an awesome little "get everything in one little package set" which as you mentioned early on, is the perfect set for a coffee table or center piece somewhere in your home. Display it closed, and then as people ask, you can show it off and let them explore what it has to offer. I love this set and can't wait to add it to my collection!

I think they could have done a couple of things that would have really upped the desirability of this set.. 1. At least 3 my mini figs: Mario, Peach, and Bowser 2. Be able to build the exclamation mark or question mark 3. Add some more pieces for making a bigger micro builds as an option while also providing perhaps a Large star build that would use some of the tiles to get more value if you did the alternative micro builds with the remaining pieces used to make a display for the figs or a large displayable base for the bigger micro builds or both depending on pieces. Making like a 20 to 30 dollar bump in price for the extra options I think would have made this set amazing.

I think that this set is cool. But I would have a Mario and Peach figure on a stand in that secret flap, even though I love the mini bowser I would rather have secret figures that come in the set.

I like the set for what it is. But I would of preferred bigger separate sets for each micro build. And the ? block seems like random thing to pair the biomes with. it would be cool to make a ? block and have a crank on the back and depending on how much you turn the crank a different power up would show up at the top mushroom, fire flower, star, ect. I have no idea how it would work though.

I didn't grow up with Mario 64, so while this is cool is doesn't scratch my Lego Mario itch. If it was based on my favorite game, Galaxy, would I feel different? Probably, and I hope to see some mocs with this idea based on other games. I think the micro-worlds are really neat though, and probably the highlight here. While the question block may be a cool display, I'd rather not pay for that. Just give me the worlds, and like you said, maybe at a bigger scale. This is exciting however that there are larger Mario sets coming out, and I think that's the best part.

The Bowser's Airship set is one of the best pieces of official merchandise I've gotten from Nintendo in a while. I'd kill for a full-scale Peach's Castle and Peach figure, this microset does nothing for me.

Nintendo 64 as a system, Mario kart 64 and other games. The Mario game itself was groundbreaking with totally 3-D world end it was spectacular but I was never good at it. I think this Lego set is spectacular. It will look great or a shelf or a table and will be an awesome conversation piece when you open up and while you talk about the game you can also show how awesome LEGO is.

Just bought this. Kept walking by it a hundred times cause thinkin eh whatever the hell big block of random mario stuff or what. But once I actually took the time to see that it was a few different worlds I had to have it. Might even make me do another 120 star round on my switch.

I want this more than the NES. I guess it's because I like Mario 64 more than the first Mario Bros. I definitely would've preferred a full size Peach's castle, preferably with minifigures, but this is still awesome. Also, Micro-Mario should've had a printed hat. 😉👍
