Would love to know if you have any cheats for ensuring the hole drilled into the table leg or coffee table to attach the hammer in nut fixing STRAIGHT? I have table legs to repair.

Sorry, not much I can add other than to say take your time in making sure that the drill hole is as straight as possible. The rest should follow.
