Yep! They've arrived. Moondrop SSR are fantastic! I did fall asleep with them in last night. They bring out details in Jon Hopkins' "Tayos Caves, Ecuador I" I've only heard before from the Blessing 2s. Given the difference in price, that's phenomenal. Thank you.

Just buy L3, it is good set. Really. Eq on that set is really work. I rec set it on the bass mode, then you eq upper mids region, it sounds amazing. It will reduce the bass quantity and push the bass qualities on texture. It width is not special, but!!! The depth of the stage is amazing in that price range. Love it ❤️

Mm, I like Tin T3 better than these I think. Check my SSR review, I compared those with T2 which is similar enough to T3. I like SSR best personally, but it's not for everybody.

I’ve had the tc-01 for a few Months and I think they are under rated, they’re reliable for gaming, accurate, nice soundstage and a decent cable.

Hi! I have the AS10 and it is my first IEM, I like it but I feel it's aging so I need a new IEM. I'm choosing between the SSR and SSP. I like my to hear music in details so I think the SSR would be better for me, but I also like some bass. The bass on the AS10 is already good for me. I just want to ask if the SSR has the same level of bass or I should go for the SSP? Or maybe the T2+ will be a better choice?

I worry I'll get too focused on describing the graph and not what I hear.

Yes, I think so. I'm testing now, on iPhone with Apple dongle SSR is "loud" for me at about 75% volume. Any louder is too loud for me to listen.

Hm, not that I've used -- I personally have never used the microphone on an IEM.

It's not a thing I do, so take it with a grain of salt. They'd probably be fine for that, but I'd consider going up to something like ThieAudio Legacy 2.

I think I'd take the Blons over the SSP, but I prefer the SSR over both. And no, it's not really practical to wear any of these without the wire going over the ear. Are you concerned about that?

@@SuperReview is ssr good for fos gaming like footsteps can be heard? I can buy ssr for just $20.. i am not really concern about it but just want to be flexible.. and yes do i need to have a dac for the ssr or it is good in using it to the mobile phone?

I don't use IEMs for gaming so can't help there. Should sound good out of a phone though.

@@kurtrussell2966 if you can buy them for 20 DO IT!!! Buy me one too! I will say one thing though, I use a sony xperia 1ii. Good dac okay amp... Cannot reach loud volumes, but perfect for at home. This iem is power hungry. With my LG v30 phone it can power them just fine, as it has a beefy amp for a phone, and no troubles outside the house in noisy environments. I'm not sure how a USB dongle will influence, I won't be caught dead even trying this out. A DAP or amp would be recommend.

I don't distinguish by genre, I would prefer SSR for everything I listen to.

go for SSR if you like anime songs, it's more treble focused on most anime songs mixes

Tin T2 Plus for a bit more bass IMO.

​@@kamasu4222 It just arrived and the video pretty much describes it perfectly, it's got more of a "friendlier" sound compared to the SSR because of it's noticable bass boost. Althought the bass boost was nice, it takes away a bit of the soundstage by bleeding into the mids, and it sounds sloppier than the tighter and more articulate bass of the SSR, and despite it's boost, It's still hard to recommend this to someone who wants a fun-sounding casual pair of buds or someone who didn't like the SSR in the first place since it's bass might still be a bit low for them and the shouty, but slightly damped, mid and treble frequencies will also be too aggressive for them. Overall it's still an amazing IEM especially for it's price and niche sound sig, like the SSR, I'd say it's currently the best pair in this price range and you should pick it up if you want a technical and detailed IEM but also want a little bass in your music.

Yeah the matte finish is quite nice. I think this would look especially good with a darker cable.

It takes more power than average for an IEM. Any source should be fine, it won't be particularly sensitive to hiss.

Personally I'd take BL03 over SSP. The BL03 fit seems pretty personal, for me it fits very well.

I won't do a full video about them, but I have them. For $20 they're pretty neat, but IMO they're pretty lacking in resolution.

They're very good for female vocals, and with my experience they aren't shouty at all.

Yeah, "weeby" generally means the frequency response puts emphasis on higher-pitch vocals.

I don’t recommend them for male vocals between the ages of 5 of 11. Excellent for toddler vocals of all genders. The female vocals over 90 years of age bracket is a reach for these. Cat vocals I’d say go for something in the “S” category on Crinacle’s list.

How much output power from your source (phone, MP3 player, computer) you need to get volume out of the earphone.

It's more similar to the SSP in terms of tuning, though SSP has less treble zing.

In broad strokes, they're all similar, all somewhat bassy. I would probably go for Aria if you can swing it.

No, does not come with a mic on the cable. You could buy one separately.

"Hard to drive" just means it requires more volume from your source -- phone, player, amp, etc. -- than average. The SSR requires more power than average. The SSP requires even a bit more.

Probably, but really depends on the phone. If you can get a $9 Apple dongle, that will guarantee good sound.

T2 is easier to drive. I prefer SSR personally, but T2 is less controversial.

@@SuperReview i heard ssr. ssp not yet, but from my experience with etymotic (4xr vs 4sr) i prefered er4sr. IMO DF tuning with bass is kind of veiled, not the case with harman since treble extends better compared to DF.
