We spent a week at The Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort on the big island of Hawaii and didn't waste a single moment! We went swimming with the dolphins, we attended the Legends of Hawaii Luau at the resort and enjoyed the amenities of the resort.
The Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort is 35 minutes north of the Kona International Airport. It sits along the west coast of the island in some of the most picturesque scenery in the world. You don't need to go anywhere else if relaxing in Hawaii is your main mission.

Yes it was great we enjoyed our days and nights at the resort for sure! Luckily we had a week all around the island before 1 week at this resort so the time at this resort was for a lot of pur down fun time it was perfect. Thx for watching and commenting. Have a great New year!

Lovely room and awesome views. How wonderful that you get to swim with these wonderful creatures. I always love a lazy river. Great amenities. Loved the entertainment and your cocktails looked interesting. Trams and boats, I think Shanks Poney is the way to go 🤣A great resort. 👍🏼🙏🏼🤠♥

Good HI experience and review. The Waikoloa Village resort has all the things I love and so nice to have the freedom to stay put at the resort. The tower seems worth a bit of a splurge being so close to the activitirities with views of the ocean and dolphin pool. That is awesome setting to watch the dolphins even if not participating. With a luau right there it takes the stress away from driving some place and enjoy some mai tai. You covered this well. Cheers to you vacation and all the best in 2024👍

Oh my gosh! This looks amazing you guys!! What a great place to stay, its like a dream! The dolphin play and the sea pool, plus the transportation around the hotel 😮 Fantastic! Jodi you looked beautiful with the flowers in you hair, and the blue drinks look sooo pretty! Loved the show too! Man I can't wait tovsee your episode on the Volcano House, it was closed from the 2018 eruption when we were there. Is the sea pool connected to the ocean somehow? Loved this review you guys!!

Yes go back and watch Hawaii 1 our first video in the series was at Volcano house it is older but so cool and so much history the location was perfect we were able to hike and see everything for 2 days and go out to Lava during both nights. Yes the Luau was a great show and yep the fire is very cool. Yep Mai Tais can be way too good. The dolphins were everything I dreamed of. I was very happy with this resort. I have never been Hawaii. My wife and I have been talking about taking about planning a trip. The Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort looks amazing. Beautiful room and views from your room. We love the Hawaiian islands we really enjoy Maui and Kauai if you can island hop I would recommend it. We are thinking of exploring Oahu next year it's just much bigger as far as city atmosphere and that's not something we really want on most of our vacations but we will see. that was a great view from the room! The dolphin quest looks like it was the ultimate! Too bad they didn't allow video recording! that blue drink looked tasty! loved the performances!

Thanks for this video! We are thinking about booking. Do you know how accessible and actual sandy beach was? Seems that was a common complaint online.

OK so we have 5 other videos of this trip you may be interested in. Part 5 we share a beach that locals told us about its called Hapuna and it's only aboutv15 minutes it was amazing. We think it may have beat our favorite beach on Maui and Kauai. We messed up and did it last day. Now it wasn't for the snorkeling we also love to snorkel it was for relaxing, white sand the beautiful water and we could just walk on in. You can see a very nice hotel next to it and we did remark we may have to stay at that hotel next time but it doesn't have everything the Hilton has. Anyway we shared the secret to how to get to it and everything in the video but we also shared black beach 49 I believe which is only 5 minutes from hotel secluded and quiet just a little more pebbles but quiet. Now the first day at Hilton I believe in part 3 of our videos we show we did go into the rockie area of the ocean at Hilton and did some snorkeling and other people swim in that area its just not sandy. Here is the link part 5 of our favorite beach but if your going to explore volcanos and mana kea which we recommend you may want to start with part one. Really enjoyed your video and review. I like your style and presentation. I thought your review was very accurate, informative, and will be helpful to those looking to visit. We stayed at the Hilton Waikoloa for a week in February. We stopped there after visiting Sydney and taking a 2 week Holland American cruise around New Zealand. (A wonderful cruise, one that you should consider in the future.) We thought the food options were okay at best. The breakfast buffet was very expensive and again nothing to write home about. There are other options in the Waikoloa complex that are worth exploring. We found the A-Bay Island Grill great for dinner and also breakfast. Also, seeing the sunset on A-Bay in front of the Marriott can be epic.

Another point: paying for valet parking is not much more and we found incredibly fast and useful, and the service was always friendly.

I remember seeing many people with the same ones I believe they rent or sell them. I also think many people go to the market just 5 minutes down the street and buy them. When we arrive in Hawaii we go to Costco and Walmart first thing and buy water, drinks and snacks for the whole week and we bought our snorkel stuff it is good quality and about the same price as renting but now we own it and we actually take it everywhere. Hope that helps you can call the Hilton and ask them and they will let u know but I saw many floaties so you shouldn't have any problem getting them. We are actually going to get some on Amazon for our Caribbean vacation. Thx for watching and commenting hope we helped you and hope your a Rambler and follow us. I would definitely check operating hours. So many good restaurants and the market in the shopping center is a great option. They make the snorkeling very easy and enjoyable. Very jealous of your trip to the big island. -Ron

It’s a good thing Ron wore that blue shirt to camouflage his drink should he spill it. 😅 What island is your favorite?

Our favorite is Maui second is Kauai. The only island we haven't done is Oahu cause it's more like the Vegas of Hawaii and not what we are looking for but we are going this year so keep you posted. I don't know if I could ever cruise the Hawaiian islands. You never get enough time when you cruise and I couldn't imagine only getting 8 or 12 hours in Maui or Kauai I get very sad after I get 2 weeks on the island. Depends on how much time u have either a whole week on one of them or 1 week on one then fly to another for a week island hopping plane tickets having gotten very cheap. No matter what contact us we may go to one of them in 2025 and if not we can give u tons of tips we have been to Maui a half a dozen times we want to spend months on the islands when we retire love them!! Happy New Year!!

We love Maui so much and we have went every time of the year and the great thing about Maui is anytime of year is beautiful. U could get a light rain day or two and depends where u are stating. Manybpros and cons February great for whales but not so much for jet skis or parasails cause it's whale season. Less people in February and not as busy. We have stayed in every section possible and explored every corner so yes u should call, text or email me. We have done that trip on every budget as well so we can tell u where to stay and what to do.

Really really appreciate it you are the first and only to mention my narration but I don't do it as much as Ron because I talk way too much all the time in the videos LOL! Believe it or not Ron is a lot like Terry many times a man of few words but when he speaks they are good words. Yes Hawaii is my happy place especially Maui but I am an island beach girl so willing ro explore many more islands.
