Hey Doc. I have a V13 too. My EUC friend here bought the skinny wheelchair ramps that Dawn Champion recently switch to to put her EUCs into her car. I paid him half for one of them since they come as a pair. They collapse down very small and can support up to 400lbs from what I understand. Anyway, it makes getting my V13 in and out of my jeep a breeze and is definitely a back saver. I already had a couple of small hernias repaired a few years back, I don't need anymore hehe.

Hope you recovered well from your hernia repair. I really love this wheel but I can still feel the lower back pain from when I lifted it a few days ago. I have been searching online for the most portable, lightweight ramp. I have seen a portable pet ramp that can withstand 150 lbs. of weight. A lumbar disc herniation is extremely painful so I choose the ramp technique versus lifting this beast of a wheel. Enjoy your V13!

So far I love the V13. I am riding it around and will eventually be putting out a first impressions video. We definitely made a great choice on this beauty of a beast.

Since you have had yours for awhile, how do you get the max speed of 56 mph? In the app it says I need to pass 30 km of travel. I have done that and I still get max speed limited to 37 mph. I have already done the pedal hardness to 100%, speed clamp off, registered and verified my serial number. I asked on the forum and a couple have stated it is now 60 km needed. However, their wheel is still limited to 37 mph max even after surpassing 60 km. of travel.

@@EUCRAZY_AU Thanks for the advice. A couple of the guys at the InMotion forum told me last night to delete the app and then reinstall. I also updated to the latest firmware. It worked and I now have a max speed of 55 mph. I don’t intend to go that fast though but quite reassuring to have that capability.

I just rode the V13 today and it certainly will need time in getting used to. Today is my second day riding it. The hardest part for me is in mounting and accelerating. Once at speed it is much easier to maneuver. Braking is easy too. Hope business picks up for you so you can enjoy the V13 in the near future too.

Cool pads. Looking at the V13 myself. How manageable is that stock tire on the street!?! Is it grippy enough!?! Coming from the V11 with it’s stock tire. Does it REALLY need a tire change for predominant street riding!?! 😎 Stay safe out there! 😎👊

Currently the wheel is locked to 37 mph until I have travelled about 20 miles total (30 km to be precise). In the few miles I have ridden it the tires are still pretty decent. When I try to go faster than 20 mph I have to really lean forward to go faster. Very frustrating. I am satisfied with the tire in terms of being grippy. It was drizzling and it was doing a great job in keeping me from sliding.

@@AdamU1016 Awesome. Which Clark’s pad setup is it that you purchased? Do they just have the one “kit”? I do like the all black color on it. Just curious, did you contact Clark’s about the longer screws to see what their technical opinion may be about those longer screws holding up OK without causing any breakage to the pad material and stress points!?! Thanks again for your time.

@@flhandster4395 They only have one kit with all the different color choices. Initially I wanted a blue seat with everything else black. It would have given it the NY Knicks color scheme. Then I decided to just go all black. I am sure Chris would have obliged to whatever color combo you wanted since he does listen to customer requests. I used the stock screws in my original video and actually completed the whole setup. I did not like the way it looked with the large gaps. I dismantled the setup, made another video and then used longer screws which made the connection look tighter and more secure. There is ample room in the thick pads to prevent the screws from sticking through. I did not contact Chris for his opinion about using longer screws.

The pads are still a beautiful design. I am concerned about a crash that could ruin the roll bars, headlight, and shell. The cushiness of the pads will absorb the impact. The pads will also help me should I land on the wheel or vice versa when I fall. Anything or anybody the wheel hits will also have less damage.

@@adnborntoride6174 - Yes there are plenty of other alternatives to protect the wheel. I initially was going to use those bumpers from AliExpress because they sure will absorb impact. I have used them on my other wheels and they did a fantastic job. The Clark design really intrigued me when I first saw them so I was hooked. I hope to never ever have to test the usefulness of the pads though. Enjoy your upcoming V13. She is a beauty and a beast too. Have safe rides!
