I've had a outdoor variant version of these at my old apartments. I remember when they went off. Never forgot the sound of them.

Mricom recently came out with the FHS-400 series of LED horns/strobes. What are your thoughts on them, and do you think that you might get one or two of them in the near future?

Found in the Econolodge Motel in Sapphire Hills, VA. I'm in Room 120 for 4 days during me and Sarah's honeymoon. There are lots on a Notifier System with Gamewell Century Pulls. This hotel is located in the Stepford Area of Sapphire Hills.

life cycle of a spectralert came out of factory - they first come out as a mini horn 1 week - they then become this thing, they grow a strobe 6 weeks - then they become a spectralert classic, their bodies are more curvy to inspire more fire alarms to be made by just their neat design 1 month - their adult form is a spectralert advance, their curve gets updated, their strobe is higher up for intimidation and upgraded horn _this_ _was_ _the_ _most_ _weirdest_ _comment_ _i_ _made_

These are really common up here in Alberta, Canada. They're good alarms. I was at the Stu Peppard Arena in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and it has a Mircom FX-2000 system, with mircom pull stations and weird alarms: Notifier 6-inch bells, next to System Sensor remote strobes, the same ones you see on the MASS 24. Any idea what model those are?
@albertafirealarms23385 жыл бұрын
System Sensor SS24LO is the strobes.

That's because apart from making a good product, Mircom is a Canadian company and they have a manufacturing plant and their head office in Vaughan, Ontario.

Fun Fact! These alarms were actually made by potter!

Potter has been manufacturing them longer than they've been named Potter. They used to be called the Amseco Select-A-Horn/Strobe.
