My personal opinion of all large motor homes is their size and dual purpose of living quarters and vehicle, all rolled into one. I see them all the time at camp sites, more or less stuck there and having to use bicycles locally or tow or drive another car or use public transport to get beyond the camp site. They are also totally impractical for things like the NC500 on narrow roads and can't find the space to park them at attractions etc. They also often have to move off pitch, just to fill or empty their water / waste tanks. If you do get beyond the camp site, you have to take every expensive possession with you, not having the facility to leave it behind at a camp site, which is safer. The whole large motorhome idea seems fundamentally flawed to me. I believe that i have stumbled upon the best set up. We originally bought a lwb transporter sized van new and got it fully professionally converted with a pop top and everything else. It is very good for exploring remote areas and parking at attractions and reasobably good at accomodating 2 people but obviously no where near perfect for living space on it's own. We added to it by buying a 7.5 metre fixed bed 4 berth caravan, which we now tow with the campervan. Serendipity has led us to the perfect solution for all scenarios now, with masses of room in the caravan or if we want to go off exploring on single track roads etc we can but still have cooking and toilet facilities or a mix and match of either or both campervan and caravan. The campervan is perfect for towing as well, as it covers the caravan's front aspect, which makes excellent total rig aerodynamics and the heavier weight of the campervan as opposed to a large car, stops overtaking vehicle suck completely. I can now travel right up to the 60 mph limit without any caravan tail waggle whatsoever.

The 92k for the deluxe plus spec leather seats and habitation aircon and you are looking at nearly 100k. I think I will stay with my Burstner for a while longer. I agree the german built MH's are built well.

It appears that a lot of people do not understand the empty vehicle weight and its legal upper weight limit. Maybe a VLOG showing the plate and explaining what the varying weights actually mean would be a useful addition to your library!

Great review video. The Beachy Pod was brilliant! Gutted we didn't make it there this year. I loved the Hobby Deluxe, but I'd love to know why they didn't put a cover on the hob burners. Thanks for sharing this video with us, take care ❤

Look a lot of people do videos on motorhomes but please could you all mention payloads some of these vehicles are 3500kg by the time you’ve put your fuel on gas on clothes on and then the passenger and his and her clothes on your over weight what’s the weight of your van Mr slaw😮

I find the vehicles a bit, no, very disappointing. There is no imagination and development. Those prices though are becoming unreal.

No good for sitting in during the evening or daytime.
