During post event scrutiny technical irregularities were found with car number 2. The findings resulted in the exclusion of car number 2 and its crew, which moved Mads Ostberg into the winning position, Evgeny Novikov into second and Petter Solberg into third.
The gravel stages of Rally Portugal is where the Ford World Rally Team find themselves for the fourth round of the FIA World Rally Championship.
