People with no taste hate on this watch, But IMO it's my favorite piece that Rolex ever made. I freaking love it! Nice review btw. Very professional.

An absolutely amazing watch which just improves in daylight when the dial comes to life, I wear big watches anyway so when I finally bought this it felt comfortable straight out of the box. If you are on the fence because of the size, just get one you will not regret it, Its a Rolex, its solid, its quality throughout and has amazing presence.

First off, nice video. My 1st Rolex was the Deep Sea-Sea Dweller 44mm all black. Had I known about the James Camron Deep Sea-Sea Dweller I would've gotten that one instead. I may still save up for it bc it's a really nice timepiece.

I tried this on at my local AD and the dial is stunning. I have a 7.5in wrist and honestly I think it was pushing it from a looks perspective because it's not just the case size but the thickness. I plan on getting this watch at some point, but the GMT master II is a more well rounded choice for me right now.

I own this one and also PP This dblue is my daily driver and I don't think it's less than pp since it's so unique it's thick but just shows more presence and not a burden at all Really like it and the money I spent totally worth it

Your watch is waterproof to 12000 metres but the Challenger submarine went a lot deeper than that. Cameron wore a Submariner when he did his record dive.

The Rolex Deep Sea Challenger was a watch strapped to the outside of the submersible. The Deep Sea is just a commemorative piece.

at 44mm this is far from too big. even on smaller wrists, if adjusted properly this watch is no issue. to say otherwise is just plain opinion, not based on fact. ever heard of the invicta hydromax, or replica deepsea challenge, now those are big, and still wearable...although they take a beating from being so out there...literally.

If only the made bracelets that are proportional to the cases. The abrupt transition at the lugs to the not only narrow but also tapering bracelet is extremely off putting.

I own the much improved version, the 126660 that was released at Baselworld 2018. Out of all of my Rolexes and other watches, this one makes the least sense to hold onto, especially considering the fact that I own two other Rolex dive watches (the Sea-Dweller 43mm 50th Anniversary and the Submariner Hulk), but I love it too much. I will keep it forever.

Good review. I had to laugh at wearing a glove on one hand though. You did give good details, many reviews don't cover why the Deep Sea wording is chartreuse.

It’s a great watch, had mine on at dinner with an old buddy last night, he had on a hulk submariner and he felt his watch looked like a little girl’s watch in comparison to mine! Nuff said....
