I also have this and I love it. It really has reduced all cramp I was getting in my right hand. I use the trigger grips myself also. I was abit worried about the trigger covers and button presses but its perfect and responsive as if they had no covers at all.

I bought two of these since I bought the pink and the blue Special Edition Animal Crossing Nintendo Switches the pink one I gave myself for my 59th birthday just on Wednesday November 8th and the blue one I'm giving myself for this Christmas Christmas of 2023 I set up my pink Switch on Thursday and I put it in this Canandaigua it's fabulous I'm absolutely in love it this set like you are the Switch lit is really Lite because I never had a Switch Lite I have the original Nintendo Switch and the Oled Nintendo Switch and I've been in love with this Switch Lite set. I'm just like you now because since I just set everything up yesterday I love playing with the Switch Lite and the Skull & Co. case set it extremely very comfortable I'm using the trigger grip because it's more grip to hold on too. I love this case and everything and great video review too!!! 🤗🎮❤️🤗🕹❤️

In case anyone is reading this and wants one, DO NOT buy them from their website. I'm having massive issues with getting them at all. Somewhere between them inputting my address and DHL starting the process, the address was not at all what I input and it bounced back to Skullnco. Now they told me they dont want to refund me at all, which counters what their website says about products returning to them (says they'll refund). You're much better off getting them through Amazon!

Whenever you buy a grip.... you might want more protection and this is just everything you could want for grips and protection because the rubber is flexible and better for impacts and the grips come in 3 sizes... its amazing. It even comes with a stand in the carry case for switch lite in tabletop mode

Love the grip case! I want one but I didn’t think I’d be able to keep it on the switch lite all the time because it wouldn’t fit in a carrying case but this carrying case is perfect for it so I’d be able to keep the grip case on it all the time! Is there more than just black?

Yeah, the case is great protection. I use the grip around the house but put it in the flip case when I need to go out. Which at the moment isn’t getting used at all!! Black is the only colour at the moment for the case.

Great review...I'm considering between this and the satisfye lite grip. Think this one offers better protection and looks better and more compact but satisfye has the asymmetric grips and the grips themselves are supposed to be better material (rubberised coating I believe) What's the hard plastic of the grip itself on the skull and co like? and do you think the grips are inferior to an asymmetric set-up such as the satisfye?

Hello, I don’t have a Satisfye grip to compare unfortunately, but you’re right, it’s clear the Skull will give more protection. The grips for me are great. They are hard plastic and I don’t have an issue with them. I would say it comes down to personal preference but for me you can go wrong buying some Skulls. The Satisfye cost $26 but for just $10 more with the Skull you get an incredible case. I will try and get a Satisfye grip and do a comparison.

What I really want to know is; what if you hated how the skull & co case looked so you didn't buy it, but you would still want to store your switch lite with the bigger grips. Does the switch lite with the bigger grips on the gripcase fit in a regular switch case? Is it snug enough to be safe?

Problem is, makes it very deep and you need the height without it being a crush.

TBH I’m not a huge d-pad gamer, but I’d say you won’t have an issue unless you change the way you hold your switch to use the d-pad? On another note. Have you changed your joycon to be a standard d-pad? Well worth doing and it’s pretty easy. I’ve done another video on it if you look it up. 👍🏻

I just tested with a UK plug and it does git although it pushes up the lite a bit. Still zips up. If its a US power brick it will be thinner so wont have any problems 👍🏻

Is there enough room to plug the Switch to a charging cable while laying inside the case?

Hi there, there is a small gap which could fit an ‘L’ shaped connector, however if you fit in correctly in between the flaps the Velcro will obscure it. You’d need to put it under both flaps for it to work. HTH

Thinking of buying these because of the grips. But something that worries me is that the transparent cases I've had for my phone all became kinda yellowish and dirty after some time using. If you see this message, could you say something about that? Did you experience that with this case?

Unfortunately you will always get a yellowing with this material. I’ve had mine over a year and TBF it’s not very noticeable. Have a look at my other video on the solid colours. That may be better for you.

Yeah. Problem is the buttons do feel odd if there’s a case cut out around them and the screen needs to be uncovered as it’s used as a touch screen.

Watched this today because I ordered this bundle for my lite. After waiting a month and a half, it never came. They sent me a replacement for free and it still hasn’t come, it’s been almost a month since they sent the replacement. I was beginning to think the brand/website was not legit. Still not sure why both have gotten lost in the mail but, I guess we’ll see…

@@CTAtechdesk I know the bundle I ordered wasn’t in stock in the US warehouses so it is coming from China BUT the original order got to Houston, TX and then never moved. The company was super quick to resend it and they aren’t sure why it got stuck there. I was thinking it was due to the USPS sending out the COVID tests (the majority came from Houston) and maybe it just got lost in the mix of all the tests. The replacement they sent got stuck in Chicago, IL after it made it through customs so I am not sure but it’s definitely a delay on the US side! I’m hoping it comes soon, I am too excited about it for the second one to never arrive either

I haven’t used a Satisfye as it would double the cost of it to Import it to the U.K., but I WILL get one at some point. So it’s not fair of me to compare yet. However. I doubt you’d be disappointed with either but the Skull n co is absolutely stunning. 👍🏻

@@poopsniffer4436 I’ve heard the satisfye is better for fps games. The offset on the right side gives you more ergonomic access to the right stick. It’s a much wider grip though, so I can be a little tougher to load up.

Don't bother. Been waiting since May for my stuff and it's July 4th and it never arrived. Skull and Co literally won't do anything about it. Like me there's so many people that have been scammed out recently. Literally buy from anyone but them. I'm speaking from the UK.
