If you have one of these and you don't know about this, I recently discovered that 3 presses of the play button skips back to the start of the current track, do it again within a few seconds and it skips back to the start of the previous track.

As a senior who bought this speaker for podcasts with my smartphone, let me mention that this has loud, great bass. BUT- midrange and treble are very muffled. Speech requires me to really concentrate to hear clearly. I got a Samsung Galaxy S10E, and that device's sound is perfectly balanced, loud and clear. I never use the Anker because of tis. Also, the controls require a very firm push, unlike the JBL Go 2, which also has better mid range sound.

I love the size, shape and sound. Only one bad thing i'd change is the fact it doesn't turn off by it self when one forgets to do so, wasting battery.

You don't really need to worry about the battery it lasts 24 hours 😅

If it disconnects from the device, example if you're using a phone and you go out, leaving the speaker at home, it will switch off a few minutes after it disconnects.

Just grabbed this a few week ago to add to my Anker collection. Sadly I can't support your family since I use Amazon Canada. Good review. Not overly concerned about the micro-USB since all my other Anker products use it and it was released in 2015, so USB-C is def not expected.

If you pause at 1:19 the speaker's bottom will tell you the model is A3102, which is Soundcore 1(P.S.: Soundcore 2 is A3105)

The reviewer didn’t say if it’s the Sound Core 2 or 3, kind of an important thing to mention at the beginning of the video.

@@BassedInVegasit's about the 'soundcore' that's its name. The soundcore 2 is called the 'soundcore 2', and the soundcore 3 is called the 'soundcore 3'. This was just about the soundcore. Technically, there is no such thing as a soundcore 1.
