The R is the much better value and 95% the same car. If you are lucky enough to find a 2015R in great shape, buy it. Past its horrific depreciation curve, RWD, arguably the most fun for your dollar.

F type R with only 25 BHP less and if you are lucky you might find a RWD one - a stonking piece of kit with a real muscle car drive and none of that AWD safety net malarkey

I wish the SVR sound at 1:40 wasn't pre-recorded, but either way, we all know it's one of if not THE best sounding production cars in the world.

I just noticed exhaust on the s letting off steam, nothing appears to come out of the SVR.....but if you say so! Great review anyway, actually contributed to me buying one lol....

Achieve the same experience by filling your standard F-Type with a bag of spanners and tipping them in the boot. Saving £50k

RR SVR is just 1sec slower in 0-62. That's not bad for a 2+ ton brick. You can throw kids, cats, dogs, bags at the back , drive it in snow, mud, flood anywhere, anytime.... except when it breaks down ;)
