The barrel issues have definitely been noted; supposedly later runs of the blasters have been retooled for proper barrel diameters - slightly important, since not a lot of places carry the Xshot rounds right now.

You might have defective blasters, because mine shoot all types of ball rounds pretty well with no jamming.

Yours are definitely defective, they normally work 100% fine with rival rounds and have no feeding issues even if you have extra rounds in the internal mags and have no problems shooting normally

Quick thing about the orbit: if you have primed and then hold the un jamming button and prime again it will chamber another round, it will actually load up to 3 rounds at once and will fire them all well

Just throw the stickers out the window and paint it like a model kit

I bought 100 x shot rounds and they work better in my rival guns than in my x shot ones in some mystical way

I Kinda surprised by the negative review. Have both and I love them. 1. cheaper than rival and etc. 2. Stock blasters have better performance than rivals stock. 3. have 12 & 24 rounds in package 4. If u load Pistol like kronos , Yes it will fit 6 rounds easily. Orbit can fit 15 + 1 into chamber rounds! 5. You can speed load them through rival magazines ! 6.No Jams or malfunctions ... Duh!? 7. WTF Coop , you suppose to fight Siths! Not join them. 8. Your video was an automatic like , but WTF. No likes or dislikes are given... 9.They work with both rounds Rival and Xshot. It's just works. 10. Coop , you're still a TactiCool Bro.

Apparently, this is a known issue with older batches of the blasters. Someone contacted Zuru and they said they fixed it. Newer batches should be okay, but there's no way to know if you have a newer one or not.

Hey coop👋. For the orbit, you can actually use rival mags, 12's or 7's, as a speedloader. Practice a bit and you can reload in 3 seconds or so. I don't have the meteor yet but it might also work with that.

I've been using these for a few months now with no issues whatsoever.

Just going from my experience I think your version might be a lemon, or mine is freakishly good? It really has no firing issues with nerf rounds like yours had. I have both the Hypnos and Orbit and Id take the orbit over the hypnos. Especially when I can rig up a stock for it so I can feed rival mags into the Orbit boosting it to 26-28. For those wondering the orbit is definitely quieter than the hypnos. Also you can load multiple rounds with the unjamming switch. it will hold 4-5 balls before they start to fall out of the barrel. So yes, this thing can go full shotgun mode but at the cost of FPS.

Interesting... I have both and never once had a ball just fall out the front, they feed absolutely reliably with Rival rounds and X-Shot ammo.

Going to have to add to the lemon view. I've had no issues using DZ, Nerf, Proton, and community rounds and haven't had issues. The issue with the 6th round is it you need to push it past the follower's catch. I did have a nontrivial amount of seam flash on the included rounds.

No inconsistency issues on my Orbit. Also, a useful undocumented feature: use the pump release switch to chamber multiple rounds (up to four) for that shotgun role. Your FPS WILL suffer to the point of four rounds as once being pretty much useless unless you angle it up like a grenade launcher, but the fact is, that functionality is there, should you need. I'd still have preferred slam-fire. I can see this being real popular with the HVZ crowd: thumbing in rounds while you still have (at least) one round chambered without the Rival "slide open the door and jam balls into the tiny tube opening" shenanigans. As a slung secondary, this has a purpose.

So i have the Meteor. A: i can manage to get it to hold 8 rounds. You definitely have a lemon, as i dont have any issues firing it with 8. B: i used the stickers for my phone accessories 😝 C: WTF IS THAT TAB FOR?!!?!? Seriously, I WANT TO KNOW!!!!! Also, my meteor has a different color scheme. The black is white, and my stickers were orange.

It kinda seems like half of all these two blasters end up being lemons while the other half work fine, strange.....

I got the two gold colored pistols! • Jammed first shot • Priming jam switch didn’t work • the barrel sucked to un jam manually • it shot well when it did after 7 tries • all of the bullets I put in the mag (3) ended up in the barrel and bricked the gun repeatedly

I actually really like how on the orbit you can visually see how much ammo you have left because of the orange "bolt" thing on the side.

You can load in two shots at once with the orbit by priming it then using the switch above the trigger to prime it again, this means you can also fire it like a shotgun

I have both blasters, the Kronos and the Meteor and I have been able to use both company's ammo in both blasters with no issues whatsoever ... Funny thing is that you are the only youtuber of the hobbie that is throwing crap over the Meteor and said that doesn't like it ... Maybe yours was defective somehow or your Rival rounds are just bloated after so much use I guess 🤣

Totally Worth just removing the Air restriction on these. It is just a bolt holding in. Fixes any ammo issues. Tip: While its apart, add some plumbers tape under the seal to increase FPS.

Wow, you really went out of your way to hate on this line... (Did April Fools come early?) I actually found the Chaos ammo to be superior to Rival ammo... It shoots a lot further, and is far more accurate than rival ammo. In a Kronos, it shoots like a laser. The Meteor is superior, since it has 6+1 vs the Kronos 4+1, and can be store fully loaded (6) and decocked... The Orbit can be double fed for true shotgun performance. And both blasters can fire any ball ammo, from any manufacturer. I personally had no issues. And stickers are awesome.
