It doesn’t actually have emotions. Its emulating emotions, but the robot can’t actually comprehend the emotions or what it means. They don’t have empathy. Right now we’re nowhere near that point.

I haven't done a lot of research on this thing yet but I did see a couple videos with very questionable events related to this children's "toy". In a couple videos that I watched, it asked very personal questions to the user like "what is the name of your family members?" It was very insistent also which was even more odd. This is marketed towards children and I know it's being marketed at "AI" driven also so one may say it's attempting to learn about the user but i guarantee the info is being logged and sent back to the manufacturer. If this thing doesn't collect large amounts of data for the manufacturer I'd be surprised. This is even more ridiculous knowing that it's likely speaking to children.... maybe I'm wrong since I have only done preliminary research but this is the initial vibe I am getting.

That part is scripted to get the kid/user thinking about what it actually means to be human in the first place. There's no way anyone is sending these out with the programming motive of learning to be human. That's literally just "replacehumans.exe"
