The thing about Matt's appendix, it's giving me ptsd or phantom pains lol. I had mine out the week after my bday in 2019, but caught mine really early bc I only had pain. Good on you both for making him go, a burst appendix is nothing to play with.

Dude, when I got my appendix removed, I didn’t feel anything except a tummy ache the day of, and I had a large ovarian cyst too. Had to get a whole damn C-section! You are queens for saving him!

I’m so glad Matt is ok! My sister had the same pain and was puking and having diarrhea for 2 weeks, a doctor told her she just had a stomach bug lol.. a few days later her appendix burst and she had to have emergency surgery. Definitely scary!!

If they don't allow pregnant women to fly after 36 weeks of pregnancy because it may induce labor I would think it could affect a bad appendix too. I'm so glad you convinced him to go. If it burst on the plane I don't think he would have died, but the recovery of an burst appendix is longer than if it's removed before that happens. The threat is the toxins that are released when it bursts. Recovery at home for open surgery (burst) is 4-6 weeks. For laparoscopy (not burst) 7-10 days.

Omg Creme Savers! I haven’t thought of them in forever!
