Yes, gps units are needed. Professionals drivers can't use smartphones while driving. GPS units are approved, however.

Unfortunately there was literally no review of any of the features. Just a lot of scrolling ( which is self evident anyway) and little to no pro or cons to the device. I will need to look elsewhere for an actual review. No hard feelings at all. I'm just looking for a little more reviewing. Peace

It really sucks that you can't change the screen orientation on this model.

Haha, it was a nickname given to me when I worked at a TV production company. I would always be fixing things so the women there started calling me Handy Andy. Stuck with me ever since!
