Honestly I think Trizooka would be a great special for Squiffer, but i dont think Autobomb would add a lot of value to it. I feel like Torpedo would be more useful to add a bit of poking power.

7:22 Wave Breaker's set-and-forget is perfect for Brella, though Autobomb over Fizzy might better. Toss an Auto, throw the Breaker, optionally toss another bomb, and approach as your victim has to deal with everything at once.

Honestly I don't care about whether it's good or bad but I think a Splattershot Jr with the Zipcaster would be interesting considering the slightly larger ink tank and how your main weapon uses less ink now during the special. Dunno what sub it'd have and the quality of the Jr like this but it's something I just think would be a neat concept. Also a part 3 should definitely happen.

Zipcaster on Splattershot Jr would be alot of fun especially if the cost of the special was kind of cheap so you get it alot. Burst bomb on in is my hope.

You can't use subs during zip so I don't think the bomb matters. I vote chickens though, torpedo spam is annoying but affective and chickens are even more annoying.

This might sound a bit strange but Tri-Stringer with Angle Shooter and Ink Storm, the Tri-Stringer is mainly focused around chip damage even though it can 1-shot so the Angle Shooter's 35 damage and tracking can help with finishing off weakened opponents at range without having to charge another shot or tracking opponent who hide behind cover after being hit to shoot over their cover, while Inkstorm further softens opponents and helps turf control as Killer Wail 5.1 has 0 turfing (unless it splats I guess)

I'd prefer autobomb/torpedo for sub but I really like the idea of ink storm on tri stringer. it gives a different versatility as a backline to be able to drop the cloud

@@jr.c.4250 Honestly considering we currently have Toxic Mist anything aside from Point Sensor would be an improvement I just think Angle Shooter is underrated and needs to be able to combo with the main weapon

I like inkstorm but angle shooter is bad on any weapon and tri stringer deserves a good kit. Honestly, I say just give it burst bomb and let it be a meta backline with an immense skill floor and ceiling. It'd be broken but the main weapon has such a high skill floor to be usable and a high skill ceiling that it wont be carried by the kit. It wouldnt take over the game because it's too hard to use and it's a mostly backline weapon even if it can play midline so it wont be ran double in team comps

@@apersonwhomayormaynotexist9868Being a Tri-Stringer main and having used Slosher Deco a lot, Angle Shooter isn't nearly as bad as people seem to think, I think it could still use a slight buff or two like inking your feet when thrown and doing 40.00 damage instead of 35.00 but otherwise the biggest issue with Angle Shooter is that it's on 3 weapons and only combos well with 1 of them

Yeah! I'd be down for a 3rd Custom Kit review. I also wonder if you'd ever give us your detailed thoughts on Zipcaster. I'd like to know more about it's strengths from an experienced user like yourself. I've tried to learn via my own experience, but I quickly lose interest cause it's very complicated to learn in a game where most other specials are straightforward to use and be successful with in spite of how fun it can be to zip around.

3:40 YES! This is what my Wiper dream kit of beacon Cooler! But I don’t think it’s as likely to happen due to Dapples having beacon cooler so I hope for fizzy cooler as a second kit. (Please don’t give it point sensor, angle shooter, mist or wall).

A kit that I would want to see is .52 gal with autobomb/curling bomb and Tri-strike. It's the old kit from Splatoon 1, which was one of my favorites.

9:18 Yeah making kits that are supposed to make up for the lack of viability of main weapon just leads to a lot of unbalance in the future, especially should they decide to buff fix said main weapon. This does not apply to brellas, thx Nintendo.

im surprized no one tried an undercover kit, i personally want burst bomb and storm for it because it originally had it in the trailer when specials were being shown (the horrifying moment everyone realized missles are coming back) and because it needs a bomb

Good video! Like learning more about kits and what makes them good or not as someone who's getting into splatoon more seriously. Dumb thing to bring up but personally I usually have youtube playing in the background while doing other stuff so mentioning what everything in the kit is before you start talking about it would be really nice (you do a lot of the time but sometimes its sprinkled in a bit ex. 2:11). Don't know if that's a shared thing with anyone but still I like this series :>

My idea for a kit would be basically a bella kit but be a super tank with wall bubble and tenta bella so basically Reinhardt and orisa from overwatch allowing for pushing with your team cause there isn't that many supportive brellas

Oh man, Squiffer with Zipcaster and Suction Bomb makes me drool. But recently I've been using Snipewriter as I've kinda grown to like it after doing a bit of meming with it so I wanna do a kit for it. In terms of kit ideas, I think Snipewriter with Fizzy Bombs + Crab Tank would be a lot of fun. Fizzy can combo with the main weapon for a kill and it can help lock down an area while painting for special. The real fun, however, comes when you get enough for the Crab. Crab can help it deal with threats like E-liters while also allowing it to paint and pressure for objectives, especially for those still struggling with aiming. Lastly, for aesthetics, I think it'd be cool to give it a mechanical design and a name like the Mecha Snipewriter (like you gotta admit that sounds cool). Overall, the kit can help newbies feel like they're contributing while encouraging them to play a bit safely, but in the right hands, it can also make for quite an aggressive charger. Fizzy and Crab could just be too good for any weapon though so I'd like to hear what others think of it.

I think Dapples with splat bomb and Zipcaster would be cool. Zipcaster is good for getting in, and splat bomb is good for poking backline and is a good escape tool.

Big swig, angle shooter, tacticooler. Paints well enough to always have a cooler ready, meaning you don't need to run qr and run speed to play aggressive. Angle shooter combos well and let's you and the team track, retaining the supportive niche for the weapon, while also giving it more options. Hyper aggressive qr big swig is super fun if you have someone on the team to help clean up after your big aoe chips with the horizontal.

As much as I would be absolutely obsessed with a squiffer with Zipcaster, I think it would need to have a bomb that can help it paint because having two kits that paint poorly would be a little painful. Really though just give me second kits of squiffer and squeezer and I'll be a happy cephalopod.

Omg that tent kit read my mind, Mines/Zooka is the kit I’ve been wanting for it! I wouldn’t mind having Stamp back, but I love the idea of shooting long range shots behind a shield, like a tank! Now that Kraken Royale is coming, I think it would go GREAT on Tent. It’s hard to kill Tent at range so people will be forced to approach and get Kraken’d. Maybe with Point Sensor to amp up its annoyance/support factor?

One of my dream custom kits for Dynamo would be burst bomb (cheaper sub that can help Dynamo paint its feet/keep itself alive when flanked) and wave breaker (gives it the ability to control an area better, replenish ink tank, and benefits from locating enemies). I just feel like it would be a better support compared to vanilla kit while also being able to be more independent While a more aggressive/realistic kit based off Splat 2 dynamos. Would be splat bomb (great for keeping itself alive) and booyah bomb (I miss my wife tails, my wife being Kensa Dynamo)

The game needs more beakon and inkjet weapons. While there is currently a lack of the two, both of them encourage the player to play around with positioning which could be healthier for the game because it would give the player more options against backline weapons. More beakon weapons would encourage more ways and unique angles for your team to get in, though admittedly most maps don't really have good beakon spots right now due the lack of off or flank routes. Some maps like museum for example are still good for beakons. While inkjet is very susceptible to crab, it helps players learn more unique angles to play from which would help against lots of soloque players not knowing how to deal with backlines. This again, is reliant on good maps though since jet can easily just get shot out the air on most maps by a liter or crab. Also yes please do part 3 it's fun to compare new season weapon kits to potential new ones for the future

I may be biased because i main tetras and kraken is my favorite special but with the return of big squib I’d love to see tetras with burst and kraken. In a perfect world I want torpedo on tetras but it would waste way too much ink and harm the dashing even with sub saver (I love the nouveaus but torpedo drains so much and I I can’t dash too far after I use it even with multiple sub savers). Dualies are normally an up close weapon anyways so I feel using burst to get some damage and then dashing in to finish the job would be great, plus using kraken to go around and roll into their targets makes in my opinion a great offensive weapon. (Maybe they’ll make some deco dualies and that’ll be the kit 😂) great video as always! I always learn a lot from these and I love how you give an explanation to each kit and why they would or wouldn’t really work. Also Logi amazing job on the editing I love seeing the humor you put into these videos 💜

6:00 Instead of Splash Wall for Tenta Rapid Blaster Pro, Ink Mine could be a good alternative for that non-passive sub you were talking about. Angle Shooter or Toxic Mist potentially too, but I’m less sure of how well that would play as I don’t play blasters.

I would like the Splatana to be Curling Bomb/Tacticooler. Curling Bomb for mobility and potential for mix ups with the charge slash, and Tacticooler for support and to help with the wiper’s Quick Respawn strategy.

Kit wish list: Splash with torpedo and zipcaster (or dualies, squeezer, pro or squiffer) Range blaster with burst/splat bomb and kraken Brella with burst torpedo burst/splat/fizzy bomb Tenta brella with burst bomb Not sure what specials to give the brellas. I'd be fine with most specials as long as it's not something silly like reefslider or zipcaster. Nautilus with deployable sub and killer wail (I never use the bomb) Bow with burst bomb Slosher/tri slosher with burst/splat bomb Dynamo with burst bomb and booyah bomb Pro with burst

I think the only sub that will give Nova an actual niche is either Splat or Suction Bomb. Burst is good, but even with it it'll be weak. On the other hand, at this point it's the only 3-liner that both has enough efficiency to use grenades regularly and its mechanics don't get in the way of doing so (like on Naut and Gloogas). With a grenade it'll be the only 3-liner that can engage in blatant sub spam, kinda like a fat Jr.

Since I’ve finally played Splatty 3 Here’s my custom kit: Reef-Lux Angle Shooter Kraken Royals Honestly, I just thought these would be perfect together! Angle Shooter compliments Reef-Lux perfectly, and Kraken goes with the Reef part of the name.

My dream kit is Bloblopper with Burst (to help with killing and quick paint) and Zipcaster (to get to unique locations to rain down bubbles on) or Stamp (Because I like Stamp, also for killing.) though mostly I just want Blob Burst.

My dream explosher kit is angle shooter and wave breaker, the angle shooter is cheap, so explosher can afford to use them, it locates just like point sencor which its already good at, and also the main thing, it comboes perfectly with explosher, especially when trying to kill the weak person u just 90ed and theyre just out of ur reach, its perfect. ten wave, kind of the same as angle shooter, displaces people so its easier to trap and kill people with explosher, and it comboes will with the main, and its a deployable and ink refill. i really want this kit

I was having a dream the other day where I was playing on Piranha Pit but it was different somehow and I was using a Wiper with Fizzy Bomb and Booyah Bomb. Idk why my brain decided that a weapon with already good paint needed more mobility and more paint alongside an hp special but at the same time that hasn’t stopped the shooter main privilege.
