He flipped a bearded dragon over on its back to take a disturbing picture of him. Im not an expert but I dont think they can breath flipped on their backs like that. Or maybe im thinking of leopord gheckos? I dont know im not the expert. But all I know is that dragon looked pretty uncomfortable.

For what it's worth, my school allows reptiles in the dorms as long as they are non-venomous, aren't a crocodilian, and are 4 feet in length or smaller. They have to have a full health check from the vet school, have an enclosure within certain size specifications, must be leashed or in a container if you take it outside of your dorm room, and if you have a room mate you must have written and signed permission from your roommate for the reptile to be there. Edit: There's also a limit on how many animals can live in a room. It's either one per human inhabitant or two per human inhabitant. They can all be owned by the same person, but if that's the case no one else can have pets. Oh, and if it's a two person room with only one person, it still counts as two person as far as pet population is concerned.

Hi! The kitchen with a washing machine in it is from the UK (pretty certain based on the plug sockets). Over here it's more common to not have a separate laundry room, but instead to mush the laundry room and the kitchen into one. I think it's due to high population density meaning smaller houses, but I could be wrong. I hope that you enjoyed this useless little factoid!

Is having a laundry room a common thing anywhere else in the world except for the USA and Canada? I'm pretty sure everywhere else no one thinks of having a room just for doing laundry unless they're too rich.

@@GoHerping I can confirm, I’m English and it’s incredibly rare to find a laundry room in a house. Most houses that do have them are in wealthy areas where the homes have been built more recently and styled after American homes

Iirc, a lot of the houses weren't built to have separate laundry rooms because they're so old. The kitchen is the only place where the water pipes could connect

My aunt lives in an 1800’s farm house in the US and her laundry is in the kitchen as well. It’s the only house that I’ve ever seen with that set up!

@@connorseaturtle6354 Usually basements, atleast in the northeastern US where I live. Though some bougier homes do have laundry rooms. I've rarely seen the machines in other rooms, usually its somewhere out of the way like a basement. But honestly the kitchen seems way more convenient! :)

The 'hedgehog' is a lesser hedgehog tenrec. They are a completely unrelated species. I'm pretty sure that it's skin shouldn't look like that

The skin definitely doesn't look very healthy when compared to images of tenrec hedgehogs online, it even looks a bit like mange, I hope it's just some dry skin and that it is cared for properly.

_Jack_ 28_ yeah its skin is a problem i have a hedgehog and it struggles with dry skin an although they aren’t very alike i imagine they have similar problems ! i hope its ok !

It’s pretty normal for tenrecs to have some dry skin on their feet, I see it a lot. Mine’s seemed to improve after switching to a more humid substrate though :)

@@kyliecummings7804 Nope, just a really cool example of convergent evolution! Tenrecs are from Madagascar where a lot of the wildlife isn't really related to anything - but their closest relatives are the golden moles and otter shrews of Africa

Hey, I’m looking into purchasing a bearded dragon and live in the cool climate of Ireland, im wondering if a ceramic tile (akin to those you would put on a bathroom or kitchen floor) would make a fine flooring for the enclosure? As it seems easy to clean and would take heat gradually? Thanks

I feel so weird looking at other people's set ups that are so elaborate when my beardie has a hide, a heat rock, a bowl, a hammock and a few of her toys scattered everywhere. My set up is just so basic and I hate cleaning that itself let alone something that takes like ten hours to clean and take apart and put back together lmao

the closet idea is really good, i want to get a ball python but my grandma is terrified of snakes so i’d love to be able to just hide my snake away when she comes over
