Learn German Lesson 1 - Greetings | Begrüßungen
Our German Language journey will start with the basic greetings in the German language. In this video we will learn different ways to greet people in various parts of Germany.
Along with the Greetings, you will also see the English translation of each new word that you will learn, don't forget to note them down and learn them by heart because this will help you in expanding your vocabulary with each new lesson.
You may be wondering, why we are beginning the A1 Level with basic greetings. It's because, before we get into the grammar and other details, it’s important to get a hang of the language. That will result into having a better understanding of the language.
It is highly recommended to listen and learn the German greetings as it is. In further videos we will be getting into the details of the German sentence structure. You can always pause and replay to hear something again.

@@yashpal3567 I would suggest you to start with the Netzwerk A1 Deutsch als Fremdsprache set of books. They are quite easy to understand and one can maintain their interest with all the activities given within. It comes in a set of three - a Textbook, a Workbook and a Glossary. I suggest to complete one chapter every week from the Textbook and complete the Workbook along with it. Try not using any translation software to make sentences and use the glossary to translate the words. I hope this helps :)

Danke. I love this channel sooooo much and it is so easy for me to learn. My passion for learning German keeps on increasing and these videos make it so much easier for me to speak German and to speak it to my family who know German as their first language. I used to speak it as my first language when I was little but as I got older I was speaking English more that I forgot a lot of it and these videos make it so much easier for me to remember and learn my first language again so Danke schön.

I'm a half German American, and took a German course in high school but sadly don't remember much of what I was taught. I'm now living in the UK, and even though a few people have told me not to tell people I'm German, I still want to learn about my roots and the tiny village my family lived in. A cousin of mine visited this small village, showed them her passport, and they showered her with love and hospitality! I want to learn German so I can go and meet my relatives and be able to speak and understand what we are saying. 😊

I wanted to learn German language because of the great Volbrecht Nagel (1867-1921) was a German missionary to the Malabar coast of India, Kerala. He learned our language Malayalam and he had written and composed thirty plus songs with such depth, insight and usage of the language that no native speaker could ever imagine those lyrics even to this date. And his songs are the most sung ones in churches, family prayers and almost every prayer gathering in our state. What a dedication, what a life.

When you're learning a language you do not worry about the accent right away, at least that's what i think. If you occupy ur mind with dilect right from the get go, its gonna be hard.

After English, i want to learn another language. When i was in high school we had German lessons and our teacher was so good. Her name is Özlem. I learned my first lesson in German from this channel. I understood the lesson very well and practised it while engaging in the lesson. I felt I was learning the lesson from a the teacher in a physical classroom. I believe I'll be able to acquire my best from this channel. Auf wiedersehen !
