The timing of Guns & Ammo’s visit occurred in the wake of pro-gun-rights decrees signed by current Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro in 2019. This event was not only a celebration for a Taurus brand, but an insight to the country’s shifting attitude towards civilian gun ownership.
