I just rode this trail, and I'm 100% with you on the section where you said "I don't like this one". That's the most dangerous section of all of HiLine!

Having capable locals or riders who are familiar with the trails makes a big difference in Sedona. The lines are everywhere, so it is hard to pick the right ones when riding alone... still fun bc of the great scenery. Also, riding with others helps w safety. These trails are remote and help is not immediately there, and the risk of getting lost off trail does exist.. It is a misconception that the trails are just outside of the hotels. Same with Moab. Great ride. You looked a lot more confident after a few rides on the desert terrain. Cheers.
