Fallout 4 was always one of those games that you tell yourself that you will play for like 30 min, then you end up playing for over 8 hours, most of which you are just messing around

It's quite the opposite for me actually. That was the case for Fallout 3 and New Vegas but whenever i feel like playing Fallout and try to give Fallout 4 a go, i usually spend 1 hour modding it to make it playable and then spend 1 hour or 2 of boring dialogues to just realize that it isn't enjoyable in the least and i would rather play the previous ones. :/ I'd love to enjoy the game but it just has too many flaws compared to its predecessors.

@@biodidu25yah the only reason I spend so long on fallout 4 is because of modding it, cause without the mods I think I would have given up on 4 along time ago, haven’t played the previous fallouts in a while, but Ile have to play them again soon

I dont remember much of my first fallout 4 playthrough but the one vivid memory i have is of my first ever legendary weapon, an explosive pipe revolver i got from a ghoul. Made me fall on love with revolvers in games and carried me throughout my whole playthrough.

I love the entire section from after 4:40 to 5:04 with Baby Liberty Prime spouting his lines in the background. "Warning! Subterranean Red Chinese Compound Detected!" as you're all in a Vault or after Kellog shoots Nora "Updating Tactical Assessment!" They couldn't have been more perfectly time if they tried.

Ayy, I was just playing heavily modded fallout 4. It crashed, I said "fuck it, that's enough" and now here we are. If you want my best 3 recommended mods, that actually won't crash your game, they're Statue for River, Macho Claws and the You've done F'd up mirelurk sound replacer. 9:33 that's macho claws, btw. It gets funnier with the salem deathclaw mission.

I have so many hours put into Fallout 4. I've barely ever touched the story. Only time I really did was when I first got the game. Then...I got into installing mods. Now I kinda just play the game like a weird Fallout life sim. Wander off in a random direction after spawning in using an alternate start mod to skip the intro. Find a nice place to build a home, using another mod to let me make a new base anywhere I want. Then spend the next however many hours just wandering, and collecting stuff to put in my base. MAYBE occasionally doing a side quest or something if I bump into one.

Love this game ( alongside F2, FTactics ), especially regarding the weight and feel of Power Armor. The HUD and the modularity of the armor with all the parts like T51, T60 etc Some thumping heavy metal! 🤘
