This is the reaction I was waiting for because I don’t think people understand how powerful and iconic this album was. She mastered pop and dance and hip hop all in one album and I know that’s what made the industry and a few singers in the industry shook. They didn’t know what Nicki was able to do. This album is iconic.

THIS ERA OF NICKI'S MUSIC WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART. BACK THEN NICKI KNEW SHE COULD DO WHATEVER SHE WANTED BECAUSE NO OTHER FEMALE RAP STAR BELNDED THE POP / DANCE MUSIC WITH HARDCORE RAP. THE ROMAN EDITION MAKES IT EVEN MORE SPECIAL. I KNOW IN THE PAST NICKI HAS NOT ALWAYS CREDITED SOME OF THE SONGS LIKE STARSHIPS BUT I THINK WE BOTH KNOW SOME OF THESE SONGS ARE THE BIGGEST HITS OF THE DECADE AND REALLY ELEVATED TO NICKI TO SUCH HEIGHTS WHICH RAP GIRLS TODAY HAVE NOT SHOWN OR YET ACHIEVED. OVERALL SOME OF HER BEST MUSIC EVER. LOVED YALL REACTION.

I agree I love this album so much Nicki was winning awards over the pop stars and hip hop bullied her for it because she was becoming a global Icon. I think she probably love this music now though. She has to have taste this era was legendary

this re-reaction to her pop bag came at perfect timing, I 100% agree that Nicki should give dance/pop/electronic music a go again, and if she handles it right it's gonna be glorious and so refreshing for her. Every pop song she's made just hits right, even if people slept on many of these hits.

I just said Beautiful Sinner was a forgotten song that is now my favorite on the album. Honestly, listening with you guys, it's so hard to pick a favorite. Young Forever, Whip It, Marylin Monroe, Automatic... like this album is a gift that keeps on giving. I feel Nicki had a lot of missed opportunities to make some of these singles bc of so much backlash she received when releasing Starships as a LEAD single. I just watched the clip of when Peter Rosenburg tore her down in front of the rap community about it. Nicki went thru so much hate with this album and it was so unfortunate how her ability as a rapper was questioned to the highest degree about it. Now it's needed for a female rapper to crossover to get an ounce of mainstream success

This album took her international if we should be honest. I heard of Nicki when beam me up scotty came out but RR is the only Nicki album to go #1 in England, it put her out there more. Great album forever ❤

I feel like this is one era where Nicki fumbled the bag kinda , she had so many potential hits from this album that weren’t singles & should’ve had music videos , especially this album releasing in a era where pop was at its peak. Can’t believe she pays this album dust 😭

I mean also and this is just imo I feel like the song mainly the rap part could’ve been rewritten because there are some lines that aren’t very good like “I ain’t payed my rent this month I owe that” the rapping is just very random and doesn’t really stay on what the song is talking about so I understand from a rap perspective why she wouldn’t like it.

I think the success of Turning Me On with David Guetta changed a lot of things for Nicki at this stage of our career. I feel like she was trying to please everyone with this album and replicate the success she had with Guetta with the electro dance tunes. It’s interesting you think she was being carefree, I felt like she was overthinking too much.
