I think skin is after complicated because she talks about staying to make it work. Skin is that very brief moment where the relationship is back to good but love the way you lie is everything hitting the fan again, to prove how bad relationships can be good for a moment but the buried toxic situations are still there.

This album was definitely a staple and to me was the first time people appreciated Rihanna for albums and not just her No.1 singles. Top 3: Complicated, Raining Men, California King Bed.

Only Girl is my absolute favourite song of all time. Words aren't enough to express the euphoria I feel while listening to that song. It never fails to put me in a good mood. PS: Complicated is criminally underrated and, had it been released as a single back in 2010, I have not doubt it would've been a smash hit, considering the pop landscape of that time. It's such a good song. Also, Love the Way You Lie Part 2 cleaaaaaaaars Part 1.

This Album doesn't have any cohesiveness because, Rihanna said by herself. "Loud" means sound (songs) she explained that this album filled with a songs only Rihanna could sing. (with Caribbean vibez and etc)
