This maybe little bit off topic, but as i remember in the past, hypixel had the similar game mode like Crafting Dead 10 years ago i guess. My friend invite me to play with him and his friend, there are a town full of people, zombie almost killed immediately when it spawn, you dont have to worried if you log off in any spot in the town. We even need to time when does the chest spawn in specify location to get resources while the other player also waiting the chest to spawn. Thank you for remind me those good memories

I was a long time decimation player, made me really sad when the mod was discontinued but I understand that keeping it live service with maintenance and server cost must have cost a lot

yeah, i started back in like 2014-2016 back when it was really popular. Really miss those times. I still play just not as often, waiting for the new version to come out to play

To play this version that I played in the video, you need to download a launcher called Technic Launcher, which has many different kind of modpacks (completely safe). To play the new version which is in beta, you need to download a launcher called curseforge. 2 things. Crafting Dead could have been something big if they had comitted to the idea of being DayZ in Minecraft. Big map like MineZ back in the day. Big hordes. Big fights with actual sightlines, vehicles and more. It was possible, they just didnt do anything with it. Secondary is your comment on older players should be prioritized: 100% not. Here is why. To keep a game or a server alive you need new players. New players with new insights on what works and what doesnt. Older players are used to jank, clunk and worse. They dont mind having to toughen it out for a bit if neccesary. But new players wont see it the same way. A good example is the game "Escape from Tarkov" which is slowly but surely spiraling out of new blood and is now introducing Microtransactions to a game that genuinly shouldnt need any if they would make it so new players had an actual want to play. But things arent changed to favor newer players and only old players are asked as to what players want and those older players will eventually stop playing for whatever reason there is leaving entirely empty spots never to be filled again.

yeah i agree entirely, the crafting dead should of done that, would of seen more success. And as for the second comment, i also agree with that. I didn't really mean to say 100%, i was just blurting words out and not correcting myself like an idiot lol. I agree entirely with what ur saying, what I was trying to say is that they should add things to satisfy the new players, but also don't leave out the players that made the modpack popular in the first place. I just didn't elaborate on that enough and that was my bad I didn't. I just didn't think before saying that lmao.

bro, can youhelp me? the crafting dead modpack from technic launcher is not installing, is it offline?

It should be able to install regardless, mostly what I do is just press the install button. Idk if I ever heard of this issue specifically. My only guess is maybe you have to allocate more ram to the launcher itself in the settings. Either that or you don’t have the right Java version installed.
