A question came up from one of my Patreon members who asked me if I still use the XY display when I metal detect with the XP Deus 2? Truthfully, I answered no, not really. It was a topic I wanted to revisit because at one time I really liked using the XY screen to compare search programs. So I decided to test it again to see if had been updated and to show some good examples of what good targets looked like. Instead, I got just the opposite because of the site I was at. In this video, I will show you several questionable targets and what they look like on the XY screen and I'll dig up the targets to show you what they are.

Nice channel. Any chance after recovering the iron from the hole and replacing the sod you could run back over the hole, just to check. I've followed a few people who have declared iron in the hole and pulled out non ferrous.

Most of the time, unless its super big iron, I get it out and go over it again.

💥💥💥💥Put a Matron head large cent on the ground. Swing over it using the XY Display. Surprise! Scrambled eggs. Same thing with a large 10K, men's Onyx ring. Scrambled eggs. XY was my baby on the D1 for so many years. What happened?

Its def different in the D2 version.

I'm going to conduct a few tests with D2 XY screen using rings of gold and silver. Large coppers and various precious metal jewelry. It's been very cold here the past week. Testing begins as soon as the sun shines. @@MentalMetal

Bigger lesson to be learned is do not use a SFT program where there is a lot of modern trash....
