Hello Balkan Architect, as a student I have found your content to be incredibly useful and insightful, you use a lot of keyboard shortcuts, would you use a digital keyboard recorder to record your keyboard inputs as that could help when understanding the shortcuts, once again thank you for these videos.

Hi Balkan, I've watched all of your videos but I have a serious problem with this one... When I installed Twinmotion for Revit, run it and opened it in Revit 2024 using the button "open in Twinmotion" I can't see anything in the Twinmotion file, only the scene graph of the program.

I was using two motion to make 4D sequencing video. But there was always graphic issues, especially the shadows and windows. Is there a good trick/work flow to make it looks better? Or maybe I had the tender setting wrong?

My revit model has two stories. After I imported the two stories model to Twinmotion, the building is half on the ground and half under the ground. How to adjust it?

Does anyone know what is the edition of Twinmotion that comes with Revit 2024? Is it the community edition, the education, or commercial? I'm trying to export images in high resolution, and it's showing that it's only limited to 2K only.

Hi I had a few months trying to open the project in Twinmotion and I do not know how. I downloaded the DATASMITH EXPORTER FOR REVIT feature and it did not work. Today I saw your video by chance and followed the complete steps and it opened the project. Thank you very much. I support you very much.

Hi! Great video but just wanted some clarification about Twin Motion 2023. I was searching online to see if there was any toggle for Light Mode in the UI, but could not find any. Is this an included feature in 2023? (Note - this was included in Twin Motion 2022). thanks

I already have dowloaded the Twinmotion 2023.1 but when I want to opne Twinmotion by Revit te option appear but not as avalible it seem I cannot click on them in a grey shade color. Can you help me please?

I just bought an annual subscription to Enscape a week ago! Would you consider Twinmotion as a replacement? I'm really enjoying Enscape and probably won't install twin motion if it's not much better. Need to clear some room on the ole hard drive for 2024! Great videos!

Enscape is really good, if you have a subscription and know how to use it, there is no need to switch to Twinmotion. At the end of the day the software that you are good at is the best one for you!

I'm lost... have tried everything and the twinmotion file that opens is empty, no Revit model. Just wish this was an intuitve process, it is terrible

thanks for the video. Do you know if it is possible to seperate different instances from one another? For example, in Revit I may have used the same material for one wall I am using for a perimeter block wall. I have decided I want to change it but when I exchange the material it also changes the material on the wall I don't want to change. Do you know the way around this?

So what about giant projects? Like not a small house, but a skyscraper for example with lots of elements? Twinmotion can't handle it, also vr drops on a small projects

Thank you for the tutorial. I followed the instructions, but nothing happens when I click "Open in Twinmotion" (in the View tab) or any of the other buttons. The buttons are not grayed out. Any ideas?

Anyone else having issues with bringing Revit lights into Twinmotion? They come across in my testing, but in the wrong position. That Twinmotion still can't automatically replace Revit site elements like trees is another sore point. Enscape does that really well.

perhaps try different hierarchy options when loading the model into Twinmotion

hi, i recently watched your video on missing family after i installed student Revit but my family is still missing after i tried to download the family multiple times and it says its been downloaded but when i go to load it doesn't appear, do you know how to fix this by any chance. If it's already downloaded make sure to find it on your computer and set the file paths correctly in the Options dialog.

V-Ray has more functionality and will give you supervisor results as long as you take the extra time to learn it and set everything up correctly. 🙂

its not, only for the Revit 2024 and you need twinmotion 2023 to use it with Revit 2024

@@_Toniii I am no expert, but balkan architect said you need the newest version of twinmotion and Revit for it to work. That is Revit 2024 and twinmotion 2023

comes with Revit for free, beginning with Revit 2023.1. Earleir versions of Revit can work with Twinmotion, but TM will not be included for free.
