How does this shirt do in the summer and heat compared to the Revit worker overshirt?

great review. my question is this can i wear this in 25+celsius degree weather? im going to buy Revit Tracer Air 2 Motorcycle Shirt also but if i can wear bison 2 in 25+ weather, ill only buy this one.

No. It will be hot and sweaty! No ventilation for direct airflow either. Just a mildly breathable laminated waterproof liner.

I've got the old bison and I love it! I wear it from April to October with a hoodie if it's a bit on chilly side. Personally I think the ochre looks amazing. Glad to the snaps instead of buttons too, sure it probably makes it less like a shirt and more like a light jacket but for city riding where it'll be on and off I reckon it'll be a worth while compromise.

Hey Piggy! In what part of the world though? I'd like it for temperatures between 15 and 35ºC Celsius. What do you reckon?

@@dani3link I'm in northern England. I'd say down to 10 with a hoodie under it and up to about 25 with a t shirt. After that I go mesh but being from the north of England I'm not exactly great at dealing with heat though... 😂

I have the original Tracer shirt which doesn't get much wear as it's pretty impractical. The main issue is that it's not even water resistant - it positively leaks even the slightest amount of rain right through to the skin. So this jacket should be a much better bet with my Revit Memphis H20 jeans. Wish it had the plain colours though (that blue check looks straight off a granny's wheely basket) and those pockets are still too small for a phone or wallet. ☹

This seems like a downgrade from the old bison to me. No mention of it being a laminated membrane, the fit doesn't look as nice to me and the colours aren't as nice either. In every other way it seems pretty much unchanged.

I agree the blue variant is less than aesthetically pleasing, in my opinion, but the ochre colour is very sharp and is exactly what someone looking for a plaid shirt style would go for. That said, a monochrome option, like black, grey, camel, etc, would be good for those looking to have a more subdued aesthetic.

the first version is alot better added with that velcro patch on the arm. too bad it's discontinued. but the yellow one also caught my attention.
