We Testride the Himalayan and check off road capability , mileage and perform our signature Full ride review.
Royal Enfield has launched the 2021 Himalayan from Rs 2,01,314 (ex-showroom Chennai). That’s Rs 9,913 over the outgoing model. The Himalayan is now available in three new paint options: Pine Green, Mirage Silver and Granite Black, besides the existing Rock Red, Lake Blue and Gravel Grey. The Himalayan’s seat now gets high-density foam Touring seat as standard for better comfort during long rides....
The Chennai-based automaker became the first in the country to launch an affordable adventure motorcycle. The Himalayan is unlike any other bike present from Royal Enfield, it has been developed around a unique platform sharing almost nothing from earlier products from Royal Enfield. It has been built for a very different purpose of serving people who want to explore places and travel distances, who need a bike that can do almost everything.
The Himalayan derives its power from the LS410 engine which is a 411cc, single-cylinder, Long-Stroke engine that produces 25bhp of maximum power and 32nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. Its LS410 is brand new engine by Royal Enfield that has been designed to produce stronger torque pull starting from the low revs.
