@scratchyass2369 this things were never produced. He's holding maybe 1 of 2 in existence the REX in its name stands for Revolver EXport, as well as russia at the time not being a huge maker of the rounds it was chambered in

This is a handsome gun. I wish it would have arrived in the USA. Would make a good companion to a break open shotgun like akkar 312 or chiappa triple threat.

You know, with how massive the gun industry is in America, it makes no sense to keep feeling this longing for a russian import when US companies could be trying their hand at a modern top break. Send letters to those guys.

I wish someone would just copy it. It shouldn't be difficult for a manufacturer given the specs we know about it. Unfortunately it's mostly us gamers who know about it and most of us probably aren't gun owners.

This is a strange gun because it’s honestly looks like those 5 shot .32s everyone’s seen at some point. You know the ones, with the nickeling and are made by some company that might not exist anymore. And it really is just a weird gun in that it’s just never been in the US. Yet.

Too bad the gun was 30 years earlier. Back then Russian are no where major producer of 357/38spc/9mm. Today Uberti top break are among most sought after gun specially on 38 cal, not to mention 9mm revolver is now a thing and everyone know Russian latch are better than SnW hook latch.

Интересно. Можно ли сейчас попробовать перезапустить производство и продажу МР-412. Видео игры сделали этот револьвер культовым. Думаю многие люди захотели бы купить себе культовое оружие.

@@User-N.02 В основном это очень популярная серия Battlefield. Rex был визитной карточкой Battlefield: Bad Company 1 и 2, Battlefield 3 и 4. В 3-й части это была просто легенда. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 в ней Rex был так же очень популярным оружием.

Для гражданских всё ещё актуальная штука. Вообще револьверы на гражданском рынке всё ещё довольно востребованы. И тот же "кольт" образца 1973-го года одинарного действия всё ещё популярен и очень много стреляет. Порой даже слишком много, вспоминая недавний инцидент с Алеком Болдуином.

No. They never entered production because, around the same time as its development, Bill Clinton permanently banned the import of Russian firearms to the US, which was for some reason agreed upon by Boris Yeltsin.

@@jhonstreet2388 You just have to look at the trigger. Literally the only way to tell them apart. If the trigger is more forward in the trigger guard, it's a double action model.
