That's plasticizer. Its a chemical compound that they usually use to make plastic molding easier. I got a very very old Alter Saber Revoltech that oozes that thing all over herself that she now became Sticky Saber. It can be removed with non grit soap solution mixed warm water, but mine is pretty stubborn so I just let her be that way. A pain in the arse to deal with for really old figures.

No. It's easily the most annoying figure to handle that I've ever handled. And the engineering is as lazy as it gets.

@@AnthonysCustoms I think you should see yamaguchi's twitter account to see what he does with the figures he makes because especially now, most of the figures he make I think are objectively good engineering wise. You just need to know how to use them the way he intended them to be used.

Yeah. Need to know how to use ball sockets and universal ball hinges because those are somehow special on revo figures. I don't need Twitter to tell me how they are when i have the figures in my hands...

@@AnthonysCustoms I didn't mean to sound like a know it all or anything. Just saying that checking out how the creator poses it may give you insight on how the figure is meant to be. Personally I would admit that I am biased, but I like the yamaguchi figures because the articulation is good and most qc issues can be easily fixed due to the simplistic design. I think its understandable if people don't like the aesthetics because there isn't really much you can do to change it. But I think when it comes to execution of articulation, I think nobody can really complain, especially now with Deathstroke and Iron Man. In my opinion their articulation is as good as it gets for any action figure.

Except it's not though. It's ugly and doesn't work well. It also greatly limits the types of poses you can do. If the figure only looksdecent in certain poses and from certain angles, and the joints fall apart of flat out don't function properly, how can you say it's as good as it gets? Also, making every part of the figure's accessories out of ball hinges and some hunks of plastic isn't exactly creative. It's lazy, cheap, and ugly.

I used to have all of them. I reviewed a lot of them. Now i have only a few.
