Every 3 or 4 months, these guys come up with a better commercial. A better commercial and a pushback on the production date.

The RS version appeals to me with its long range capabilities. When will it be available in Canada, and at what price? Will it qualify for Canadian government subsidy? If so, how much?

mid - 2023 starting c$56,598 & c$61,298 respectively. As far as subsidy, it should be a rebate by the federal government with newer prices for light to medium duty evs.but i think it has changed and its allowed on bigger base price EVs over c$60,000

Until EVs have 500+ miles range and sub 30-minute 0-100% charge, I can't get on board.

@@1stopautomedia523 agreed. As they improve and hit the numbers that work for my use case, I’ll buy into the EV movement. Until then, I’ll spend my money elsewhere. The prices of these cars are also getting out of hand. The $20k Ford Maverick was an awesome deal when it came out but it didn’t last, sadly. I’m not the target consumer for a $30k+ vehicle. My income supports it but my frugality does not.

Thank you for your comments. As consumers, we can only rely and go by the info provided. And wait for these dates. I understand what you are saying by all means..But! the production and release of a new vehicle can be a complex process, and it`s not that uncommon for companies to adjust their timelines based on various factors. We`ll have to wait and see if everything falls in line...Thanks again!!!!!
