When I first got an iPad I didn’t know which to use between goodnotes and notability but then I came across collanote it’s sad people don’t talk abt it much it’s very underrated but I wish it had the tape feature and flash cards it would be the ultimate app

I know. it is almost the perfect handwritten note taking app and it is free. it is also made by a student. I love everything about this app

That’s sucks dude! My wife went through something similar a few days ago. Her entire library of notes just vanished. I will reach out to the developer and see if he knows what’s going on.

i cannot find this anywhere. do you know how i can collaborate with other people? to start, i don’t have the two person button at the top right, just magnifying glass for some reason. i’ve sent the file to my friend through imessage, but it cannot be opened. how do i do it?

I don’t use collaboration functionality so take this with a grain of salt. But on your note, you can tap the menu on the top left and there you can find the collaboration tab. I believe you can sign into your account and share notes from there.

Hi! How can I get my iPad collanote to sync to my Mac? It it won't do it. even though I have collanote synced to same apple id I cloud accounts on both devices.

You need to ensure your notes are being saved on your iCloud instead of you iPad. You can do that by moving your notes to the iCloud tab on the main page. Please let me know if you need help with that.

I can try to upload subtitles but I understand what you mean. the auto generated CC thinks I am saying Colon Note every time I say CollaNote 😂

I would recommend you use the template on the PDF you intend to import. You could use a theme in keynote before exporting to CollaNote.

Bruh, while the app is great and FREE they should look at optimization before adding more features! I get crashes and lose my notes :/

I wasn't aware of an issue about the app crashing. Fortunately, I haven't had any crashes but my notes are usually just a couple of pages long. You should reach out the developer though. He is very active with his community members on Instagram.
