Thanks for clarifying. I received mine last week and noticed there power bank only comes with the premium version. I already have the Mini and Range premium packs, so luckily have the power banks from these. The sticky pad also comes, I think, only with the POP3 premium package.

@@leftforbed1041 Since you have all three I was wondering if you would recommend the Pop 3 or the Range. I mostly want to scan larger parts (car bumpers) but I also want to be able to scan smaller parts (xbox controller) in detail. Do you notice any benefit from the IMU or extra lights on the Pop 3, when scanning by hand?

Hello - If you were to pause, turn the sphere of the globe, add some more markers and start scanning again - does this improve results of the sphere at all? Thanks for the video.

Why does my pop 3 make trail lines of the tracking dots when rotating and yours doesn't? Did you do something special?

$650 isn’t bad. It would take a few month’s savings, but it’s not a $2000 piece of kit. RS5 looks fantastic too! I’m an amputee, and I can see SO many uses for prosthetics!

My Pop 2 is FANTASTIC. As good as an Artec EVA (my previous scanner). User error, it is a tough learning curve.

At $650 it’s out of reach for your typical 3d printer person. Who has to shop around for best price of filament. And only has one 3d printer

if you can afford a 650$ printer and afford to run it you can afford to save up for a 3d scanner if that is something you want. 650$ is not out of reach, $10k is out of reach which is like still CHEAP for most 3d scanners you can find out there.

I’d say 650 is reasonable when you look at the prices of 3d scanners. It’s a great tool if you have a use for it. I will be using it as a tool to create custom automotive parts so it’s well worth it

@@lupusk9productionsmost people start with a 180 dollars and if you have to look for a good price in filament them well… you can’t really afford the 650 bucks, the economy still is not so great rn so I understand his pov

@@sakurito55 If you buy a 180$ printer, you should not be in the hobby. $180 is not the average buyer. at $180, perhaps survival supplies should come first before you even play with 3d printing.

@@pirexxx8 Einstar… I have a Revopoint mini but for face or body scans I would buy the Einstar. Had it for a week for testing and worked fine.

I’m sorry, photogrammetry does not require expensive cameras or lighting. You speak of it as you have to buy the best camera on the planet and studio lights. The cameras in that little device you’re using I would bet are worse than a cell phone camera. Any actual camera would be an upgrade. Especially full frame. I don’t know what kind of lighting you think you need or what turntable costs, but safe to say you’re out of touch. Download some free software, grab a camera now you’re free to do photogrammetry.
