It might not be a lean condition, so check your ATU.
If you've got intermittent lean symptoms despite no vacuum leaks, revs not coming down regardless of jetting, a bike that sometimes shows no problems if the weather is cold, etc., then the problem might be an ATU that seems to be OK, but isn't.
