The Toyota Sienta 1.5 Standard and Elegance. You have seen it maybe when you were out getting an Uber, or driving one yourself . There is no mistaking its popularity here in Singapore. We took the Sienta out to find out why Singaporeans were giving this MPV a "thumbs up".

Sorry for the late reply, as the Noah is a Parallel Import the main distributor Toyota doesnt have this model, but we will see if we can get one on the show.

Sienta has nothing to shout about. It falls in a weird category, it is not spacious enough for 6 people, and has less then adequate power when fully loaded. If u need to fit luggages, u can't have people in the 3rd row. If u're taller than 1.7m.. avoid the last row, they are for kids. If you want a comfortable 7 seater, ease to move about in fast traffic, this is not the car. Seating in the middle row and 3rd row, gave us backaches and our waists felt twisted and out of place after a 45mins journey. So road trip to Malacca, i don't think so, seats are not meant for road trips. Sienta is not equipped with rear aircon, the reviewer mistaken a ceiling mounted fan blower as rear independent aircon unit. It is not like the Toyota Alphard where it is equipped with independent aircon unit which is very cold at the rear, and of coz draws more fuel when having the rear aircon switched on. Fuel saving, as Sienta was designed to be, a fan blower was added to extend the air-flow from the only aircon outlet at the front. I feel the reviewer did not do a good job, Sienta is just like any other car, even a premium Alphard is just hit a button, put in gear and not complicated to get moving just like a Porsche. If you constantly need a car for a big family and requires comfort and space on a budget, there's Noah, Esquire. In the mid-range will be Estima. The most spacious and best comfort will be Alphard but it cost $235,000 because 2,200kg car is better with a smooth 3.5L V6 engine, or you can choose a 2.5L i4 engine for slightly under $200K.

This generation Sienta has no foot sensor opening, neither did the new 2023 version...what's so difficult about giving hands full mother's a foot sensor, Ford n VAG cars ,Skoda has them ions ago.... and no rear Aircon, only a circulator, ..we are talking about Toyota, biggest n most advanced Japanese car maker , deal breaker...
