I think I can remember watching this race live. I was studying for a maths test on the next day. Time flies by so fast, it's hard to believe it was nearly 8 years ago. It was also the first year that I watched Blancpain GT3 series. Let's all hope for many more races like this.

What a cool race. Thanks for posting. Forgot how good those McLarens looked. Like to see some more real racing replays like this. Maybe a GT1 race?

Did they do this with the 2011 GT1 championship? I had almost the whole season recorded on DVR from Time Warner Cable at a nice crisp 60fps but then the damn thing died and I lost it all… Tried watching the KZfaq posts of it back then but it was 360p @ 24fps and really really sucked unfortunately. ☹️

When the commetators today tell you that the current GT4 cars are kinda like the GT3 cars of the past, they're not joking. The Audi R8 LMS Ultra and the MP4 look a lot like the R8 GT4 and the 570S GT4.

They took their time to stop the race, I think it took too long . When its raining like this it is like gambling , cause the drivers do not see enough.
