Honestly i kinda misses the old boss sprite. The bright colors it used to have really makes the boss stands out in the dark.

Pretty interesting fight! It started off as just some basic bullet hell, but quickly through in more and more close-ranged attacks and additional capabilities to spice things up. Some attacks do look like they could be pretty frustrating or somewhat over-tuned, but it seems like it would be fun for the vast majority of the fight. Certainly a serious improvement over the original! Also: Do you plan on covering the Sightseer from Glory mod, by any chance?

I just checked the boss, let me ask some questions 1. how am i supposed to dodge circling illusions on p1 2. how am i supposed to dodge illusion dashes on p2 3. was there anyone that beaten this boss in legit

@@polaritz2545 The boss has been beaten legit by playtesters. As for those 2 attacks: The circle dashes are very similar to BoC's illusions. They are not see-through, but you can tell how to dodge them by moving around and seeing how they move. The real boss also still shows its name as well, just like BoC. The illusion dashes in phase 2 can be told apart by their colored flash. Illusions have a blue flash, while the threats have yellow flashes that are accompanied by an extra noise. This attack may receive some balance changes in the future, but you can clearly tell the two apart.

@@polaritz2545 Also, tip: Having 1-2 reasonably long platforms helps a TON with both of those attacks, especially if you space them out. The illusion dashes anticipate movement, but can also be messed with if you run straight until they start moving, then jump over with a slimy saddle.

This rework is fine... its basically just spamming bullets which would be fine if it did not take up frame rate. some attacks are a little op like phase 2 with the bullet spreading and the lasers. now actually i never actually remember the old fight but from what i remember it was pretty shit so its a good rework. just not done to its full potential

I can't beat this boss for the life of me. I'm really not good at bullet hell. I really wish it weren't required to beat him to get chlorophyte equipment.

which minions i can use for polaris? i have died like 12 times and i can only get it to 9000 hp :C im using blade staff, that magma spirit and tidal spirit
