This is an excellent rewrite of the whole Obi-wan show. If Lucasfilm actually cared and put enough into Kenobi, like they did with the final Clone Wars Arc, Siege of Mandalore then, the Fanbase wouldn't be divided like with the Sequel Trilogy. Clone Wars flashbacks like Anakin and Obi-wan talk about Ahsoka from the unfinished Crystal Crisis Arc was a good scene in your Obi-wan rewrite.

Fantastic rewrite, especially the bit about flashing back to lessons from Obi-wan and showing them either being followed or broken in the new series.

I can't even justify keeping Kenobi in this time period. He was generally laying low, communing with the Force to be more connected than ever so he could meet with Qui Gon, and trying to not have anyone know he is even alive. Now there is a LOT about this series that I love- young Leia stole all of our hearts the moment we met her, the organization saving force sensitive kids and their families, the fake Jedi who we think is luring kids to their deaths is actually doing the job he is claiming, Vader being at his absolute peak of combat we've ever seen, dissent amongst the Inquisitors who had no loyalty to each other. I would honestly just take away Kenobi, but it is hard to be sure who to replace him with. We can't use Ahsoka or Caleb Dume because Vader can't meet them yet. Cal Kestus has zero connection to Bail Organa. Rex isn't a force user. They are hunting remaining Jedi and so it really needs to be a Jedi to even fit the narrative, and it needs to be someone who was already highly trained before Order 66 to realistically fight well against Vader. Quinlan Voss while likely the one who started the path saving younglings is too obscure to make the right protagonist But in lieu of any great options I would offer an incredibly bold option- that instead of sending a Jedi, Organa sends a force sensitive bounty hunter- Assajj Ventress - I would dare rewrite their current story to one where Ventress is turned back towards the light by seeing the lengths people will go to saving strangers and being opposed by Vader and the Inquisitors. This gives a reason for us to meet real person Vos and for them to have a romantic subplot. But more importantly she would be the one to stay behind and fight Vader with NO IDEA who Vader is, but Vader knows exactly who she is and when he sees he cannot return her to the dark side they fight. And while we can still get some incredible displays of her prowess with both blasters and lightsabers, as well as her true power in the Force which we rarely see displayed, Vader has to win and kill her, in her last moments letting her know who is under that mask having replaced her old Sith master at the Emperor's side. This protagonist we have finally become endeared to, Vos has to lose the woman he was forming an attachment to, and this closes the book on one of the famous Clone Wars exclusive characters. The series can stand on its own start to finish, not mess with continuity, and give us just about every one of the same story beats with some adjustments mostly surrounding Reva's obssession with Kenobi and replacing it with turmoil seeing a former sith walking away from the dark side and choosing to save force sensitive children the way Reva wishes anyone could have saved her. And what do we do with Kenobi? We shell out the money for more of Liam Neeson, we recast Kenobi with someone in their 20's and we get the story of how he fell in love with Duchess Satine and almost walks away from the Order, the events that shaped him into the Jedi who would one day train the Chosen One and fail to save the Galaxy.

Absolutely brilliant.

They should make a live action clone wars series with Hayden, and McGregor before they are to old

Reaver should have had her own show. A former padawan being retrained as an inquisitor after order 66 is a great premise. The game Fallen Order told that story much better. In fact, Kenobi borrow lots from that game but does it worse.

I feel the problem with both Kenobi and Han Solo is that neither of them are that interesting without the Skywalkers, and there wasn't enough Skywalker action in either executions.

Factos Kenobi was lame and so simple. Leía and the lady sith person was trash most of all.

My problem with it as a non star wars fan is all the villians are incompetent. The have him cornered so many times but fail. It should have just been a movie
