this is actually perfect. You fixed the entire story of the film, Kept Electro the main villain and gave him a good motivation. Gave more development to Gwen, Harry and Aunt May. Kept the same vibe as the first movie while telling a new story and also focused more character arcs. This low key felt like a live action Spectacular Spider-Man in a lot of ways. Looking forward to Spider-Man 5. And i hope you can do more TASM sequels honestly because theirs so much potential.

I'm gonna be honest, I always liked TASM 2, it had many flaws but it was good for me. That said you made it better. The stuff with Harry always bugged me because not only did he have time to theoretically test Spidey's blood for a cure but he had at least 40-60 years before he was gonna die like his father. Again giving him time to try and find a cure. I do think Gwen dying in the original was okay, especially knowing that they were gonna bring MJ in the third one but delaying that for another movie makes sense as to build on her character. I wouldn't have mind them using the slow mo in the movie more to better show Peter's arc but it was lacklustre in the film. You managed to make a pretty good story for the film, although personally I would have had a few more scenes of the city being against Spidey. I'm interested to see what you do for the next one wether it be killing Gwen, make Felicia a version of Spider-woman/silk instead of Black Cat or have Scorpion hunt Peter because he's a failed clone made by a man obsessed with Gwen. Heck you made the movie better then the actual film makers so that's something. That said I'd love to see your take on a completely original Spidey film of your creation and or a video rewriting Homecoming or something.

Umm, that wasn’t Electro’s motive. He wanted people to listen to him and notice him, and he felt like Spider-Man was the only one. Then, he saw him on the TV and thought “hey, he’s just doing this for the glory and doesn’t actually care about me. He lied when he said he needed me.” So he then wanted to kill him as revenge for what in his mind was a betrayal. I thought that was shown pretty clearly, but I guess not...

I’m planning on making my own Spider-Man series of films for fun. Film 1 is Spider-Man: In The Friendly Neighbourhood This film is based of off the Spider-Man PS4 game. However he is a teacher but gets fired because he needed to stop a crime leaving he’s class. He becomes friends with Miles and he works for the homeless shelter. Miles gets bit by the Spider and the villain is Doc Ock but Scorpion is the main antagonist for the most part until he gets arrested, Aunt May dies at the end and Norman becomes the mayor of New York. Film 2 Spider-Man: Web Slinger This is going to be Spider-Man trying to stop the Green Goblin however there is a major problem for Norman. Peter gets the black suit. This causes Peter to go mental and he accidentally kills Norman and he realises what he just did. Spider-Man has gone evil and Miles (who is wearing just a normal Spider-Man costume similar to he’s first costume in Into The Spider Verse). He stops Peter who burns the suit but the last we see is a black drip landing on someone’s shoulder. Film 3 Spider-Man: Vanquish Venom Harry Osborn is the one to become Venom for a few reasons. 1: it makes sense since Spider-Man killed he’s dad so he wants revenge, 2: the suit feels just as betrayed as Harry and 3: Harry is the opposite of Peter. Anyway Harry is about to kill Peter and realises what he is about to do and jumps in this big pit of fire because he realises what he has become. Peter has practically lost everything and decides to no longer be Spider-Man, until Film 4 Spider-Man: The Final Swing This is Spider-Man vs Sinister 6, the Sinister 6 includes Doc Ock (the leader), Scorpion, Shocker, Vulture, Mr Negative and The Prowler. But Peter gets he’s own team in the form of Miles, and the Black Cat. Peter dies and is remembered as an icon and the Daily Bugal labels him as ‘The Masked Messiah’. The final swing goes to Miles who gets a gift from Peter on Christmas (Peter got him this before he died obviously) and it’s just a plain white suit and Miles can do what he wants with it and he makes the Miles Spider-Man suit and swings around in the snow to end the film.

Fixing it: - Exclude Harry Osborn, if you didn't explain his backstory, don't include him - Make Electro's motive stronger - Balance humor and serious scenes - Stop focusing on Peter's parents, they're useless - Aunt May deserved better recognition - The Rhino is unnecessary - Better and more exciting fight scenes - Make this movie darker, if the first one is darker make this one too - Final fight needs to have a point or at least an important thing happens in it (Gwen dies, Peter almost dies etc) - Peter and Gwen don't need an on and off relationship

I think the suit should have the tasm2 eyes and the tasm game's belt if you're making a transitionary period between the two suits

People don't like the suit not because it looks bad or because it looks shabby, the fact that you said that it's supposed to look like a teenager made it, prooves you have no idea what's wrong with the suit, it looks overwhelming, overworked and it looks far more complicated to make than the TASM 2 suit, it looks like a basketball, and it's far less realistic when they show him making it, because by the process it doesn't make any sense that he would arrive at a suit with so many intricate details

But this is very dark still in tone and yes he can have the tasm 2 suit. As its been a year or some time since the first movie its stated so and the public knows spiderman now ofcoursw he would have gotten a new suit. But i like this version. In my humble opinion I actually like the amazing spider man 2 and I have a lot of nostalgia for it. It may have pretty mediocre writing and a bit too many sub plots but everything else was actually really good. This isn’t the best spider man movie but I love it no matter once. I love the Tasm 2 suit more than anything and electro is a pretty solid villain. If I were to change this movie I would just set the green goblin for tasm 3 and get rid of the parent sub plot and that is how I would fix the movie. I really love this film and I even think it is better than the amazing spider man 1 and I don’t think it needs a total rewrite.

What I would do: Completely scrap Electro he was a pointless villain and had no ties to Peter Parker and had some childish ties with Spiderman which was useless Have Harry be the main villain and develop him as and a character and the Green Goblin with the rhino as a secondary villains with ties to Spiderman Keep the Tasm 1 suit with some modifications (lenses) Finish off the Peter Parker parents story Overall most of what he did to the story is good just add some my details and it would be a great movie.

The movie game of amazing spider man 2 explains that Gwen is the one who came up with the Spider-Man redesign. I still consider it pretty poor writing as it took an outside source to explain where he even came up with a random redesign

Well actually when I watch amazing spider man 2 I always feel sad at the end, I think this film is like a goth child having parents who don't like goth stuff but the kid goes out side with their parents so they dress up all nice and happy but really they're sad, dark and depressed on the inside. (not saying all goth kids are depressed)

I think people needa realize Gwen doesn’t always have to Die. It’s not like Uncle Ben where he has to die for Peter to become Spider-Man...Gwen dying really effectives Spider-Man Definitely..But it wouldn’t change anything really if she didn’t die...I like Peter Being with Gwen or MJ tho.

The only point I disagree with you on is ‘should we expect a homemade Spider-Man suit to look good?’ Everything else I agreed with and I love how you made your TASM 2 more consistent with TASM 1. But I think it is possible to have a more comic book accurate suit while keeping the homemade feel intact… both Godzilla Mendoza and Roger King (from Peter’s Web) had some very non Hollywood looking Spider-Man suit that are much more accurate than the TASM 1 suit, but (imo) look much better than the TASM 1 suit despite looking cheaper. But for the sake of story consistency, I agree with your reason for keeping the TASM 1 suit, just not the argument that a homemade Spider-Man suit shouldn’t look good or comic book accurate… anyway… This is a great video and I love your TASM 2 ideas, that one point just kind of irked me though, so I wanted to address it to get it out of my system. Please don’t bully me for this but..... I absolutely loved Tasm2

This is good. Two suggestions though. First off, Peter should either start university or struggle with the decisions related to that and start feeling the pressure of being poor. If you're going to include the graduation scene you should at the very least suggest what comes next for him and his friends. This is crucial since a thing we keep forgetting is Peter is still a young guy who happens to have immense responsibilities. This uncertainty of the future affects his friendships with Harry and Gwen which is vital in selling them as real young people. Secondly, while you did expand Aunt May and Gwen's roles a little they're still very two dimensional. They should want things separate from Peter but be supportive as well. If they're only there to be a shoulder to cry on or to be someone pining for his love then they aren't complex characters they're just props for Peter to use. Harry works better because of the tension you give between his want to do what his father never could and his renewed friendship with Peter. The other characters deserve that as well.
