If you play the final section of the level where Rey is deflecting Palpatine's lightning in co-op mode, the second player gets to play Ben in the pit throwing Rey the second saber. He even has some additional dialogue.

Generally speaking, the point was to not kill someone out of emotions such as anger or vengeance, since corruption from the Dark Side is real, _really_ real.

@@illseeyaonthedarksideofthemoon That is fine. My general point was that killing in and of itself isn't the problem. Killing out of anger or hatred is. It's been shown multiple times that doing so leads to corruption to the Dark Side. And this corruption is notably potent, at that.

She has to strike him down in anger in order for that to work. That why he had her parents killed .It how the body snatching works apparently. The retroactively made so that was what he was trying to do to Luke in Return of the Jedi. I’m not saying it’s good but that apparently is the explanation

if you stop to think how much incest there is in star wars it's huge because first palpatine influenced Anakin's birth with force making him his son after that comes Leia and Luke who kiss several times and then comes Ben who is a Skywalker who in the end kisses Rey and Rey is Palpatine's granddaughter that means that Rey is Ben's cousin or niece.

One of Palpatine's clones was perfect in design, but was completely weak in the force (Rey's father). Palpatine kept him alive in the hope that the clone would produce a force sensitive child of his own (seeing how powerful Anakin's children were). The clone was able to flee from Exegol, where he fell in love with a woman (whose story we don't know as of this point) and had a child strong with the force (Rey). Knowing that Palpatine would come after them, they left Rey on Jakku and fled, where they would later be killed.
