It's actually a green and blue flash at ingnite, for Luke and Leia. Super nice touch!

I just obtained my Galaxy's Edge version of this lightsaber. This blade when lit also shows what you called "Tiger Stripe Shadows". I'm really not happy about that as I own two 2005 Master Replica sabers and neither of them have this issue. When their blade is lit its 100% solid color.

Sorry to hear. This Hasbro uses what they call “Advanced LED” which is pretty much their own version of a neopixel-style blade. While it isn’t customizable with different ignition and blade styles or color changeable, it doesn’t have the pixel-by-pixel animation, along with the color tip during ignition. Since you already have the Galaxy’s Edge hilt, there is a way to convert it to neopixel blade. This is from an Etsy dealer called Jaymoo’s Playground: kzfaq.infoR1WiGHae3rg?si=R7vT8U7zqdEXxWwx

I love this hilt! It’s one of my favorites. Might not be a Neopixel but man does it make for a great display piece.

Probably best you go for a custom saber rather than a licensed one. That way, you can chance the color of the blade.
