Reylight Mini Pineapple Titanium 519a vs 219b comparison review | Small changes, big results!

In this review I compare the updated Reylight Mini Pineapple Titanium EDC AAA flashlight with the Nichia 519a to its older 219b counterpart. I go over the Benifits of the new tail cap that allows you to more easily use the tail switch and and tail stand the light. I also point out small changes to the lights reflector and turbo glow. I also show then performance and beam patterns outdoors for a back to back comparison of the 2 emitters and changes done to each. I show if there is a big difference between the new and old models and if it’s worth to upgrade to the new model.

Very good, thanks for the comments. Definitely look to add a Mini in the near future, probably a non-ribbed in copper.

Just grabbed one in brass. Can't wait! Thanks for the video. It took me a bit to decide what to get. I almost..almost!! went with a lanapple but I decided I wanted the small form factor. It will be my carry light outside of work *Edit* ordered a brass lanapple after getting the pineapple mini. It came in today and so far I love it! So glad to have both in my collection 😎

Just wondering, has this emitter changed the turbo duration at all? I noticed that you were not a fan of the 30s dropoff last video about this light.

I believe that due to the more effective light, the 50% mode I have mine programmed to never hit a noticeable drop like the old one did and produced more light while doing it. So I would guess it does!

Any input on which finish wears better? I love the raw ti but stonewashed will probably hide scratches better…

The stonewashed for sure. The bright satin is SO PRETTY but you see micro scratches just pop up out of nowhere which if that bothers you, even and carefully and thoughtful I am, it just scratches too easy.

I ordered one of the 219b in copper but received the 519a. Not sure if that's an upgrade or what, but i don't really mind. I prefer the deep carry clip.
