Nah it's probably a homage to one of the endings of Bloodborne where the Moon Presence gives the Hunter free hugs

What would make him a more terrifying boss is if he had the same moves as the players and act as if he is a player in the game, now that’d be terrifying and impressive at the same time

Juka looks similar to the (spoiler) the moon presence, so he might just have a moment like "Bro I did my job, can I die yet?" or something like that But since juka isn't moon presence weeeellll~

Honestly, I think it was more of an "I accept my death." Seeing as Juka's immediate reaction was curiosity. Tho with how she kills, I'm sure it was quick, which is exactly what Gehrman would want. A quick, painless death after all that was done, and all the pain he had suffered.

On the "This is the wae" You can barely see Her face on the glass reflection near the ending. So this is technically not the first time.

The first would be... quite ironic for her character. She was the one to immedeatly regret the actions at the Fishing Hamlet and renounce Byrgenworth and the hunters as a whole to the point that in what was supposed to be her eternal torment, she protected the cursed Infant Great One. For her to take up arms again, it'd take something very grave, on the same level as The Hunter trying to reach the Fishing Hamlet... maybe a horrible monstrosity keeping her mentor and good friend from his well deserved rest? The second would be horrifying and I pray not that we see it.

Sad, yes. But oddly comforting. The night and the dream were long. He can finally rest for real. He's finally free.
