I thought we had winter bad here until I went to Montreal in January two years in a row -_- because of covid I don't know if montreal is doing things the same way but it was a super smooth process for me to take the train since they had a car service pick me up and take me to the hotel and then they sent a taxi to pick me up from the hotel and take me to the hospital the morning of surgery all at no cost to me, I just had to pay for the train which was about $100. My parents did drive to pick me up but because of the shitty winter weather it took 12 hours for them to get to montreal and then it took 10 hours for us to drive back.
