Have you tried building Master Grade kits? The larger size makes them less fiddly, and there's a very good selection. And most of them dont need any paint or stickers, unlike most High Grades. I've built a few RGs, and I like them, but Bandai needs to make more Zeon suits. All those hero Gundams start to look the same.

@@drewlovelyhell4892 I do indeed have Master Grades. Around at least 20, by my last count. I tend not to get MGs cos they're more expensive, take up more space and there's not as extensive a selection as HGs. I'm mainly an HG collector cos of these 3 reasons. Price, space and variety. I do agree that there needs to be more non Gundam MS in the RG line. The Zaku 2, Z'Gok, Sinanju, Sazabi & Zeong are nice but there's plenty more that deserve some spotlight. Tallgeese is also a non-Gundam iirc so i guess that counts too.

@@fishpop I have the RG Z'gok, QAN[T], Tallgeese, three EVAs and the Full Armour Unicorn (which I haven't built yet because I know it will be a big job). Also seven Perfect Grades. (Only two completed!) I have a 'pile of shame' (unbuilt kits) that contains about 25 MGs and 30 HGs. The HGs are mostly grunt suits, either 'Sleeves' MSs for a Zeon army I'm making (Geara Zulus, Dreissen, Sinanju, Sazabi, etc), or GMs and Jestas for the opposing side . I'm fully painting them so they are taking a while to make.

@@drewlovelyhell4892 I have all numbered RGs from RX-78-2 to Tallgeese. No PGs though cos those are stupidly expensive. Plus I only have space for one but can't decide which one Gundam, Mk 2, GP01FB or Exia. I have no pile of shame cos I always immediately build my kits.

@@fishpop I reccomend the MkII.. it's big for a PG, has nice proportions, plenty of opening hatches, simple LED lighting (just the eyes). But it doesn't come with a stand (or even a socket for attaching it to a stand.) And there are some screws required (it's a pretty old kit). And I don't think it was super expensive. I also have two Strike Gundams (great kit) one with the original Aile pack, and one with the Perfect Strike add-on set. As well as the Banshee (with the add on weapon pack), Astray Red Frame and PG Unleashed RX78-2. I have a habit of getting half way through a build and then moving onto something else for a while.

Paris it is meant for you to put it together from the ground up, including the whole frame for moving parts. It just wouldn’t be as fun without the feeling of accomplishment that putting all the pieces together gives you.

As someone that has re-kindled their joy for this hobby I can say that all of those internal parts do add to the overall weight and feel of the model. These things are a whole other ball-game. It also allows for all of that armor and limb articulation. Even the new HG's are a huge improvement.
